Sobering Studies on Mobile and Cell Phones (Premium)
Each year, more and more attention is given to the effects of using mobile and wireless phones. Twenty studies published over the last several months were grouped together by PowerWatch News for a quick overview.
Some of the most concerning research relates to the impact of long-term use of these phones and the reduced survival rate for people with gliomas (relatively common tumors that start in the brain and spinal column; may be benign or malignat) and glioblastoma multiforme (malignant, aggressive brain tumor also termed astrocytoma grade IV).
