Is Electrohypersensitivity a Piece of Your Health Puzzle?
Dr. David McDonald, a research scientist, was compensated by the Australian Federal Court’s Administrative Appeals Tribunal for injury from electromagnetic radiation (EMF) in the workplace.
He used a methodical approach to determine what environmental impacts were causing his headaches, dizziness and nausea. Eventually the cause was clear. He was hypersensitive to EMFs.
A summary of his condition and legal challenges are documented on a new YouTube video. The condition is real. Although eletrohypersensitivity is not yet widely recognized, it could be playing a role in your family’s health.
EMFs as part of the body’s total load
While you may not be aware of a sensitivity to EMFs in yourself or someone else, EMF exposure could be part of the picture. In environmental medicine, the concept of “total load” is often described as a boat that is filled with one burden after another. Eventually the boat tips or sinks from the cumulative load.
Those burdens can be factors such as prenatal conditions, diet, stress, fatigue, allergens, chemical exposures, medications, infection—and electromagnetic radiation. Although a person may not be as sensitive to EMFs as Dr. McDonald, the radiation could be playing a role in many people’s overall health.

Take a few minutes to watch Dr. McDonald explain his situation and the legal challenge he faced. “It was a little disturbing at my age to learn that you could not trust that the other side was going to be truthful in the sense of everyday understanding of truth.” He hopes his effort will help others in similar situations.
