Join the Fight to Stop Tics Today
Somebody has to do it. Somebody has to find better treatments for tic disorders so that everyone, from young to the elderly, can be treated safely and effectively.
Well, it seems that somebody is us, so we started www.StopTicsToday.org
Several decades of research have failed to provide suitable therapies for tic disorders. The prescribed medications often have significant side effects and, to put it bluntly, they don’t work very well. Many people simply stop taking them.
Our new initiative is dedicated to raising awareness of tic disorders, raising awareness and sharing news on safe and effective treatments, and funding research on the causes, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of tic disorders, including Tourette syndrome. Stop Tics Today is sponsored by the Association for Comprehensive NeuroTherapy (ACN), a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation founded and directed by Sheila Rogers DeMare. A major goal of Stop Tics Today is to change the direction of research for tics.
