Hey all, ' I wanted to give a brief update on Nicholas. I haven't been posting to much lately but still continue to follow your posts. Ever since I added in fish oil and Kids calm Nicks tics are either gone or barely noticeable to him or I. It has been an 18 month journey figuring out what works best through trial and error and with the support of all of you and Dr. Chung. I still am perfecting "the formula" When I started out here I was so distraught, confused, angry, scared and hopeless. I just wanted to Coach . I specialize in Health and Wellness,Parenting, Life purpose, Relationships and really anything my clients need to work on. I guess I am sharing this because everything in life I guess can be looked at from many different angles. When my son had an accident at 5 and that cause him to have 3 strokes I thought I wouldn't make it through , but I did ! He completely recovered only to start this "experience" 2 years later. I don't know what else life will bring me but I do know that I won't be a "victim" to my life's circumstances and I hope you won't be also. Sorry to ramble I just wanted everyone to know I think about you often and thank this board always. If anyone needs a sympathetic ear I am hear to listen. abbe

What exactly is IGg testing. I have done allergy testing with Nicholas one food at a time is that it? I also sent a blood sample away. For now we avoid all dairy, limit soy and beef. I don't limit gluten though abbe

Lynn, I was in your shoes big time> Believe me it is hard but you will figure it out. Benedryl did work for Nick but I knew long term wasn't a solution. Try and heal your child's gut. Order probiotics from the candida wellness center. I also get silver from them. Hang in there. huggs abbe

Great Results with Allergy Treatment System

carolyn, fixit Thanks carolyn I am going to research it . I did a little and I see that the computer has the allergy or frequency on it when you are using the light to clear the allergy. I get it just want to duplicate with dr. chung. fixit. Nick cam down with tics two Octobers ago. I went medicine free from October to Feb. That feb I put him on 15 mg topamax. Nick is going to be nine in a month. Dr. said he could have been on 50 mg two years ago. Point being I only put him on enough to take off the edge until I could figure this out. He has been tic free 100% for up to a month long. In between his tics are very, very mild. No one would ever know. He has had some minor flare ups like at disney when his eyes got bad.(not sure but think it was from the laser light toy). I am able to clear him and get him back to baseline by upping the topamax for a few days (never more then 30mg) and then right back down. The newest and biggest change for Nick has been fish oil. I have been so scared to try it cuz I didn't want to induce tics. Well I tried it one month ago. The differences in him have been AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is nicer, more cooperative, less moody, reading at a much higher level, paying attention in school, no rage and on and on. tics are barely there right now and I know he suffers from pollen and the could is way up. I will try and write more later. Dr. Chung yes gogogog go there. Book in advance and use my name to him. He is booked up for new patients so call ahead. abbe -

[q Carolyn, Glad to hear from you. I have thought about Daniel since him and Nicholas are the same age. I don't know if you follow my posts but Dr. Chung uses a laser light pen on Nick for his accupuncture. He says it is as effective as needles. Does your dr. just treat the histamine points in his ears? where is the treatment on his body? I want to bring the info> to dr. chung for Nicks next visit. thx abbe -

Tics act up after 8months almost tic free
abbe replied to crazy's topic in Tourette Syndrome and Tics
Hey all, Nicky started to have an eye tic again about two weeks ago. He was pretty bothered by it. He is almost 9 and on 15 mg topamax. I added another kind of magnesium to his supplement program, started him on omega brite fish oil ( first time on fish oil so far) and have continued with 1 teaspoon of silver. I also did tapping" on his head and around the eyes. Within days of starting these activities the frequency slowed down. Each day he got better and better and today we were out all day playing baseball on a windy day and he was 100 % tic free. I think the pollen started his eyes back up and I am not sure which addition to his program "kicked his tic in the butt!" I told Nick when it was happening that it was his allergies , that some people sneeze and some people cough, some people get tired and some people tic. I almost resorted to trying benedryl but didn't abbe -
Hello, I said allergies period. Some foods make some people fell "yucky" . These are yours.... abbe

The fall is when my son came down with tics. He stopped 100% and came down again the following fall. Fall equals ragweed and mold to me? Now the spring and pollen has hit and he started with his eyes. I have seemed to "stop" them at this point. abbe

Hello, My son Nicholas is 8 and he does alot of "sexual" things also. He is fascinated with the male and female anatomy . I have to be honest though I never once looked at these behaviors as tic related what so ever. I haven't had him do anything inappropriate with pee or poop but he would take his cloths off when he was younger , in our house and say some pretty unexpected things sexually. I really don't feel like it is a tic though because he knows full well what he is saying and when he is saying it. He never says anything when he shouldn't. I just wanted to put my two cents in. He is my third son and I feel just "sexual" in nature. Some boys have a higher sex drive then others. abbe

Hey all, So fixit that is pretty weird about Dr. Chung. I always feel like we are giving information all the time but not yet ready to receive that information until it is your time. So maybe it is our "time" to look into Dr. Chung. feel free to use my name as a reference he likes me and Nicholas very much! Cheri the silver that I am using is Biotic Silver a dissolved Ionized Silver. It is suppose to be high potency and of excellent quality. The monolaurin I ordered was the one you suggested and also a jug from this company called Lauricidin. They claim theirs is more absorbable. Dont know just got it in. I will write more when I have more time. I want to share some more things. thanks abbe

Cheri, Thanks I know I have always had problems posting since I started on this forum !!! By the way I started Nick on the silver and I also found a site that sold the other supp. you suggested but I cant spell the name. The one from the coconut I believe. I will post the product and company in a bit. The silver I am using is a very high potency from the candida wellness center. abbe

Hey, I came across Dr. chung by a referral from this women named Janice Pickering . She did a dried blood analysis on Nick and said he was a great doctor. Nick started ticcing badly or obviously two October's ago. Looking back his eyes were ticcing the summer before that but I thought it was his eye sight. I have been done every road I can think of allergies, pyroulia, mold, yeast, screens everything. Just seems like mycoplasma might be the last thing. Funny I was reading some web site today that said all of the vitamins and minerals that Nick was lacking in are the ones that people with the infection are usually lacking in. It can really all be very overwhelming at times.... abbe

Cheri, Caryn and everyone else, I know I have talked about Mycoplasma and Nicholas this past year. His Dr. muscle tested him for it and found that he had it. We have NEVER used antibiotics to treat this infection. I gravitated to this sight originally because I am a big believer in healing the body without medicine if at all possible. Even when I mad the choice to use 15 mg of topamax for Nicholas I did so only to alleviate his anxiety from his tics, the tics themselves and "buy" myself time to figure out the real issue. I don't know if mycoplasma is the real and only issue behind Nicks tics. I can say we have gotten 100% positive result treating Nick for mycoplasma with homeopathic vials and through a machine called the kmt machine. Dr. Chung is completely against treating it with antibiotics and he is a medical doctor who practices integrative medicine. His reasoning is the infection goes IN the cells and antibiotics will only kill the infection outside of the cells. Also he said that we are ALWAYS exposed to mycoplasma everyday and unless the body builds up the immune system to fight against the virus the problem will just persist. That doesn't even take into account the yeast issue with antibiotics. So although I wanted to stick nick on antibiotics and just get rid of it I knew better. Nick has been tic free again. 100% . Ten days ago he started to tic and I took him in and he tested for some aluminum on the left side of his brain. I have been using cilantro on his head every night and he used the kmt machine at the office. Within 3 days he was 100% tic free again. I think Nick's brain is prone to infection and metals from his blood brain barrier being weakened due to his past medical history. I can only hope in time it and he heals up completely. abbe
