Thank you Kim for sharing your son's results. His was D-Lacatate 0.5 Dihydroxyphenylpropionate 0.16 (with a greater then symbol in front of the zero) and the D-Arabinitol 27. Thanks for the links, most of the time I have a hard time understanding what the heck I'm reading. C.P.

AAHH... I see Carolyn, It was a urine test. (Metametrix) Spring... it used to be my favorite time of year. I'm not too fond of full moons anymore. So I could get my Dr. to get the probotics from Klaire, or I can do it myself? Thanks soooo much carolyn, your a sweetie. C.P.

DARN! DARN! DARN! There is always something isn't there. I do not have a green thumb, but anyone know if rocks/sand would keep plants alive. C.P.

I was poking around yesterday and found a web sight about certain house plants are beneficial to remove toxins form the air. Phiodendrons, spider plants, aloe vera, english ivy, golden pothos, and boston fern. A book called... How to Grow Fresh Air 50 Houseplants That Purify Your Home or Office. I don't know what I was on, but if you plug in the title of the book it will give you info on it. Just wanted to share. C.P.

Hi Faith and carolyn, The tests were from his interarative Dr. She did blood, urine, and hair. She has moved very slow too. I guess that is a good thing he is so sensitive. Helps the pocket book too... we have to pay for it all ourself. I'm very confused about the tests, and what she says. The tests say he has, "no abnormality found" for the L acdophilus, clostridial, and yeast, yet she questions the tests. I'm not sure if she has other ideas based on TS or Autism, or what. She did go over the B6 and B12 and they were good for TS. So am I fighting a fire, or preventing one? Carolyn is there a store I can get these from or do I have to order them via e-mail? He has had a ruff weekend, baseball has been cancelled 3 weekends in a row. We don't know if it is that or the meds being weened, or spring? Thanks guys, C.P.

Carolyn, Thanks so much for the info. Out of the choices is there one you think would be better for him. The only other allergy he has not on the list is rice. Thanks for your help. C.P.

Hi Kim and Chemar, The test was Comprehensive profile, for L acidpphilus/ general bacterial. (d-Lactate) And Clostridial species (Dihydroxyphenylpropinate) Good thing I don't have to pronounce that. Both low, and yes she did want probotics. Having a hard time finding one without soy. I'll find out about the shots, is that the reason she wanted to test the vac. titers? Thank again for helping me figure this stuff out. C.P. P.S. Was the flour what she wants him to stay away from? If so could you all explain why? Is he at risk of getting candidia? (not sure I spelled that right)

OH... Loren, I got goose bumps reading your post, and had to fight back tears. My son exploded with tics at 12 too. He did have some type of tics before that, but they were so mild we thought they were just things boys do since he is my only boy. Can you remember if he did anything that looked like tics in the past? That might help you when trying to figure out if it is PANDAS, TS, or something triggered by the environment. I'm so glad you came hear early to get answers, and help. I waited alomst a year, and that was the hardest 11 months of my life. I remember my husband saying the same thing about all was going so well for our family. Then... BAM!!! I remember thinking I can't carry this cross... You will be suprised how heroic you will become, and that will be a beautiful act of love. Your hope will be strengthened with very post form this wonderful group of friends. C.P.

Hi Guys, First off my son's test said, no abnormality found for the yeast/fungal, but it was creeping up the chart. His Dr. said to avoid flour, was yeast what she ment to say? She also brought up the fact my son seems not to have good or bad bacteria. She asked if he was on antibiotics. I told her he has not... if ever... been on antibiotics. Is this something I should be concerned about? What is your take on the no (good or bad) bacteria not present in his body. (sounds funny he must have some, that is just how she put it.) Thanks for any help. C.P. P.S. When this is all said and done, I should have a degree from ACN University.

OK...Petb, I'm back for another milk-bone. (hee hee) So your son did not have any adverse effects from the baths? Does your Dr. have him replace his minerals after the bath? The lady I spoke to yesterday said, Cellfood was good. Faith, I have had many a chuckle over your one-liners too. Good luck with the school. C.P.

Hi Petb, I hope you don't feel like a yummy bone and we are all dogs trying to get a piece of you. On the Standard Process my son was non-stop vocal, it was like he didn't take a breath of air. I was in the health food store yesterday and there was a lady doing the ion foot bath. Could you tell me how your son does getting those baths? I was afraid my son would go through a die-off from the baths and can't get past, will this help, or make things worse. I'll be the first to ask, what is a muscle test, and how does one do it themself? Thanks for shareing so much I'm really happy for you, and your family. It is comforting to know I'm not the only one with a son who's noises drive me up a wall. I just keep praying for many graces, to get me through another day, week, month, year. It is so nice to see an improvement, and to thank God for that beautiful day, even in the back of your mind you know there is going to be a bad one coming up the pike. I feel like screeming on the roof tops of schools... YOU ARE POISONING OUR KIDS!!!!! I hope you have the chance to help a lot of people with what you have learned. Thanks for all you help. C.P.

Petb, My son also was to take cataprex G from standard process, he want nuts on that. Did you give your son her product? My sons profile says he is high in Adipate and intervention options are B2 and Carnitine I have been thinking about trying it. 400 mg is on his chart, your son is 7, mine is 13, do you think my son should go higher? Of course I would start out low. I'm just wondering if your DR. said why she thought he needed it at 1000mg. Thanks for sharing, C.P.

Thanks guys, Carolyn, This morning our son started with a high squeek, my husband wants him to go back to 1mg of Risperdal untill after baseball has started. Could you tell me how you did weening off the Risperdal. I would like to see how he does after a couple practices, I think he is nervous because this is a new set of boys, and this is the first year on the adult mens field. I wanted him off the meds because it said not to be in prolonged sun. Kim, if you ever decide to take a trip to Washington D.C. to take on a few politicians, I'll stand by you. Thanks so much for the info. The chart has Xanthurenate down as impaired tryptophan metabolism. Do you all think I should start the B6 first or the B12? Thanks C.P.

carolyn, and Faith, Thanks... So carolyn you mean if my son turns 20 he could have his titers tested and would not need a vaccine if his body still had that vaccine working that he had, say 10 years before? faith it was a urine test and the suspect is (Quinolinate) I did not notice anything during the last set of shots ,but he did explode with tics a month later. A picture I had of the kids that same month showed my son looking yellow. (only noticable on the picture) The shots were MMR I think, nurse just called it a boster and the new meningitis, both done on the same day. It was my daughter who was to get the shots not him, they just did it because he was there. She was in the 8th grade at the time. The Dr. is his Intergrative Dr. She tried to explain to me some kids get the shots and their body distribute it fine where others have a harder time distributing the vaccines. What that means for TS I don't know? He is on half a pill of the Ris. He has showed some signs of an increase in vocals. I can't tell if it is that or he is just so excited about baseball starting soon. Thanks for your help, C.P.

Ok... Dr. called , told us that my son looks like his body is fighting off an infection???? Told her his strep titers have been tested by the ped.(very low) She said she would like to have his vaccine titers tested. Never heard of that. she thinks something happened during the last set of shots. Could anyone shed light on this subject? She said his body is over stimulated from the shots??? What does that mean for TS? Help!!! before the tissue box becomes my best friend again. Thanks, C.P.

Thanks Ortho, and Carolyn, Yes, the Dr. said B6 needs to be included in his diet. So we will do B6, B12, and CoQ10. The B6 was not on the list of deficiencies, but it was close. What do you all think should be the starting mg, for B6,and the max. The Dr. is saying B12 should be 100mg that sounds low for TS, am I right? Thanks fot the help. C.P.

Kim, Yes, he had another hair test done by Analytical Labs, Metametrix did the organic acid profiles, and SpectraCell Labs did something I think it was blood. His Dr. said she had never seen such a good Lab report come back on deficiencies, he is only B12 and Mag deficient. She said that was good he must be getting a rainbow of color in his diet. The B12 is suggested at only 100 mg. Regarding TS should this be higher? I was hoping the mag. just has not had enough time to get a good reading since I only started that in Dec. What really confused me is the Organix Comprehensive Profile. There are so many abnormal results that even his DR. has to talk with another DR. to fully understand it herself. She has not gotten back to me yet. Thanks for the info I'll be doing alot of reading today have to find out what Hydroxymethylglutarate, Xanthurenate, Vanilmandalate are... just to name a few. If I wasn't dyslexic already I would be after reading this report. I think I'll give my hot shot speller of a son some of these words to spell, since he is always correcting me. Thanks, C.P.

Hi all, My son now shows up aluminum toxic, and also copper toxicity. His last hair test did not show aluminim toxic??? And where did the copper come from??? Is the zinc doing something to the copper??? His Dr. would like him to try some kind of foot soak, for the aluminum. He also shows significantly impaired sugar and carbohydrate tolerence. Does this have anything to do with TS? I would hate to take away his fruit. He does not eat sugar other then raw honey. I'm hoping that is just a suggestion for dietary reasons. I have a whole host of other ? for you all but will ask later, I need to read it first to understand what I need your help on. Thanks for any help on getting rid of the enemy. C.P.

Hi Mike, Wanted to welcome you also... My son has TS, but I find it interesting how PANDAS has so much in common with TS. I wish you and your family well during this journey. I'm glad he can still play ball. My son does the same thing, holds back during the game. Much luck, C.P.

Patty, The changing winds of life... I have to tell myself every day COURAGE, COURAGE! I'm on pins and needles now, waiting to see how my son will do off the meds. I have to beg for help with PATIENCE, PATIENCE! I know there is a rainbow out there for all of us. God Bless C.P.

Yes... he had the blood test twice, he is not anemic, just low. I tell you... this kid looks, and acts like he is the healthest kid in the world. It is hard to believe he needs anything, other then food, food and more food. C.P.

Hi all, We have weaned our son off the evening dose, and are starting to wean him off the morning dose. So far yesterday was a good day, no change he still did well. My questions is about the Natural Calm. At this time we give him the supplement 3 times a day. One TSP in the morning, with calcium one TSP after school, with calcium and one TSP before bed with calcium, and the zinc.. I did it this way thinking he would benefit from it spread out. Do you think I should be giving him the Natural Calm (3 TSP) all at one time? Along with the calcium and zinc? I was wondering if this change would impact his weaning at all. (good or bad) What do you think? And as Faith says, "Calling all angels" we need prayer. Thanks guys, I hope to report really good news, and maybe a couple doubles on the baseball field. The boy will be pushing for a triple, but I don't think that will happen unless there is a few errors. God Bless, C.P.

A week and a half on raw milk
Cum Passus replied to Cum Passus's topic in Tourette Syndrome and Tics
Hi Faith, He can go for a long time without making a noise. He was able to make them soft which was a hugh improvement on the Natural Calm. Now it is soft and not very often. He loves milk, and that was one of the foods he is not allergic too. His Intergrative Dr. said it was the best milk. She gave me the name of the farm she buys her milk from. I figure if it is what she is giving her kids I can trust the farm. Out of all my kids my son is the one that was not picky about his milk. My girls were very picky about the taste. What sold me on the raw milk was everyone liked the taste, and I wasn't getting this organtic milk for one, and that organic milk for the other. The cost of living in my area is pretty high, and a half a gallon of organic milk is over $4.00. The raw milk is $6.25 a gallon. The price per gallon was better but when you add in the share, and travel time to pick it up it would be more in the long run. I fugure it is worth the share for all the good stuff. I was glad to see reports on vit D and B12 in the raw milk. You are right it has 22 amino acids. I'm so glad I just hate not knowing if it is something he is getting, or a natural waning. C.P. -
Well... my son has been drinking the raw milk since last week, by the way he... LOVES IT... I almost can't believe it, but he is improving even more. I have read a little about raw milk, it does have lots of good stuff in it. Could he really be doing better because of it? If anyone has knowledge on raw milk and has a theory on why he could be doing well because of it I would love to hear from you. Thanks all, C.P.

Thank you all, Faith, It has been so long I forgot all about the flouride rinse. Chemar, he takes 400IU vit E I could give him 600IU, and I make him a smoothie every other day of a cup of frozen blueberries, cup of pomegranate juice, cup of kefir, and one banana. I could make him that everyday up to the app. Does that sound good for the antioxidants or should he take something else? Carolyn, Most of my son's triggers are stress and excitment. Patty I will check into a holistic dentist thanks. I'm 41 and have never had a cavity, Right now the only thing I can claim other then giving birth to him is his brown eyes. I hope I can add teeth. Thanks guys. C.P.
