Hi, need some feedback on this one. Dr. Latimer wanted to switch Anthony from augmentin to zithromax I have not started yet because as of today they will only fill for 30 days I need to get preauthorization which I can tell is going to be a process so my question is do I switch to zithromax for 30 days then back to augmentin or sit tight and see if it will get preauthorized?? he is having some increase in tics just minor ones. thanks all!! Hi, I am no expert but why the lower dose? why didn't he stay on 500mg or even go to 250mg I don't understand the 140mg. Deanna

My sons antidnaseb is >1360 while on Augmentin does this mean the antibiotic is not working and should we switch--last level was 960 now up to greater than 1360 I am confused. Deanna

Hi, If you see such improvment I am wondering why you would not keep on the Zithromax is there a reason to switch back to Augmentin? just curious because we are contemplating whether to switch our son or not from Augmentin to Zithromax Deanna

Hi, We are switching ANthony to Zithromax 250 mg once a day. With summer around the corner which means late nights and sleeping in later should I give the dose at a time when I know that will be consistent like in the evening? let me know those who take one dose a day what time you do thanks for the input. My sons also just came back >1360 so what does this mean if on antibiotics when titers drawn?? I am so confused. Deanna

My sons also seem more noticeable in the evening. He also has astygmatism(spelling) in both eyes he does wear glasses but i do see them more at night when he has an opportunity to wathc tv or get on the computer. Deanna

Hi, Dr. Latimer is going to switch ANthony to Zithromax ofr 30 days at 250mg is this the dose he will stay on or should we go to a lower dose if effective after 30 days ???still having some minor tics DNASE-AB up t0 1360 he is on Augmentin now--thinking maybe this will take care with what is left. any input as always greatly appreciated.
