  1. Ok, thanks.
  2. Thanks LLM. Did you check off HPL in addition to Kyrptopyrrol? I read (Better Health Guy?) that HPL test results in a much higher yield? The Kryptopyrrol urine test is $70. Not sure the price of the HPL.
  3. So funny! I can relate to #1 - our Christmas tree fell over Tuesday! My daughter just got over the tree that fell in 2007. We spent hours looking for a brown Scooby Doo hand (size of a pencil point) on a brown rug, among many shattered ornaments. I later found it under the couch - almost vacuumed it because I thought it was a popcorn kernel
  4. I just opened my package for the urine collection with Vitamin Diagnostics, Inc. (Health Diagnostics & Research Institiute)- it's just a small brown bottle. It mentions a single urination is sufficient. And, it also says you only need to be off medication 48 hours prior to collection. Is this what everyone else received? I thought it was a 24 hour collection and you needed to be off medications for 7 days?? Anyone test KPU through Vitamin Diagnostics? LLM? -thx
  5. Ellen- I'm so sorry for all his suffering - I will continue to pray for him and your family. Please remain hopeful! You are in my thoughts, as always!! Melinda
  6. Yes, I ditto that recommendation.
  7. Glad to hear he's moving forward (and without training wheels!). May it continue!! Here's to a Happy & Healthy New Year!
  8. Here's to a new year where neither of us has reason to have those bright orange urine collectors sitting in our fridge or popsicle sticks and tupperware poop containers "at the ready" in the bathrooms! (and to think, normal people are making resolutions about losing weight - how mundane!) Merry Xmas Philamom! Oh no, please don't take my joy away (lol) - I just finally got around to picking up the KPU urine container. Well, I have a few days left b4 the New Year! Merry Christmas to you too LLM! JJ Mom- no experience here with the charcoal pills, but I have used Great Plains Bentonite Clay - separated from abx and probiotics by at least 2 hours. I mixed it in with applesauce & cinnamon. Wishing everyone a Happy and Joyous Holiday and a Happy and most of all Healthy New Year!!
  9. Oh, LLM, you always put a smile on my face. After spending the entire morning waiting for a stool sample, realizing afterwards I didn't have the correct container, two trips to Quest with soaking wet hair (yes, my dd finally had to go when I was in the shower)- my Christmas message today is all about BM's
  10. It may well be the Bartonella. Prior to lyme treatment my dd had constant stomach pain. During treatment her stomach issues went completely away. Now off of antibiotics, they have returned. I have done numerous stool test (Quest) which have come back normal. Dd has Bart & Lyme.
  11. I went to him for a few months for my own treatment. It went well. I'll pm you this evening - very hectic day for me.
  12. I'm curious as well.
  13. Yummy Yummy! I'm in!!! edit- Actually, I prefer something a tad stronger! My daughter is not attending school too much due to physical symptoms (averages 3-5 hrs week). After being competely out last week, I brought her in yesterday at 1:00. I received a call at 2 from the nurse that a child in her class has strep. Seriously!!! My daughter is not on any abx.
  14. Not a trigger, but when my daughter had Giardia and C-diff, her PANDAS symptoms were sky high.
  15. Articulate (probably spelled wrong) ha- I love candy canes!
  16. I'm a brunette (with some fake blond) and I still don't get it. lol
  17. Another GREAT recap video Vickie! Thanks!
  18. My local doc just ordered the kit for me. I'm trying to decide whether to take advantage of running it, since dd's off antibiotics. Will be resuming one of the antibiotics shortly. Thanks Wendy!
  19. Hi Wendy! I would love to think we are closing in on the end of treatment, but dd is having so many physical symptoms presently. It's late here for me (ok, not really - but sure feels it)- can you explain what you mean regarding the new test. Is it more reliable in a new case of lyme compared to chronic? What is the rate of false negatives - 20%? Thanks
  20. After a year of positive IgM's but negative IgG's on the Igenex Western Blot, my daughter is now positive for both. Is this a good thing? Is the IgM finally working it's way into IgG??
  21. So happy for you Nancy. May there be no turning back of the pages. Wishing your family a peaceful holiday - God Bless!! -Melinda
  22. PowPow- what are your doctors saying about the +ANA and increased sed rate? My daughter also currently has a positive ANA, increased sed rate, and arthritis symptoms (in her legs).
  23. My daughter's Bartonella test was negative with Igenex but positive with another lab. She clearly has Bartonella!
  24. Good luck with the spray! Maybe try it on yourself a day or two first.
  25. MARCoNS (Multiple antibiotic resistant, coagulase-negative staph). Per Dr. S these destroy MSH. My son's staph was found in the sinuses and treated after that. Sounds like for S&S's child it was found in the gut. Thanks.
