AHB900
Hey everyone, I need some advice. The weather is changing and im starting to tic. My face feels like all the moisture has been sucked out of it. My lips feel dry, not from the outside but from the inside it feels like there is NO moisture in there. My face feels the same dry from the inside fine from the outside same with my eyes. This causes me to tic in many different ways on my face (blinking, squinting, mouth related tics etc) in result to this im getting stressed and im ticing in non facial ways too. Does anybody have any advice for me? how i can make my face feel better so this wont happen? I haven't ticed all summer i was perfect I was practically tic free now it all starts. faith
ABH, if you are saying that the feeling of dryness triggers you to move your facial area and this is a trigger for you, then I guess greasing yourself up especially at night might be a good idea. maybe an at home mini steam facial is a good idea every now and then. maybe a vaporizor in your bedroom at night may help too. don't know if I'm on the right track here, but anything that would make you feel hydrated and moist seems to be what you'd want. AHB900
Sounds good, does anyone know of any lotions that might help me out with this?
Chemar
Aquaphor is IMHO the fastest acting and most effective hydrating lotion are you drinking plenty of water too? real important for hydration of whole body and my son also finds if he doesnt drink enough water his tics increase. he has never liked plain water, but has learned to just get it in
patty
Is the winter dryness causing tics a NEW thing or it happens every year? Pat
laurena82
if you are saying that the feeling of dryness triggers you to move your facial area and this is a trigger for you, Then vaporizer, moisturizer, drinking extra water, etc...good suggestions. My initial ???? was if possibly home heating petroleum by by-product fumes (e.g. from gas/oil furnace, etc?) had a problem allergy wise?

Silverbird
Hi there I have just joined this board as a member, although I have been reading all the posts for some time. I had been looking for some supplements to help my OCD and to help my son's tics. I have scanned through your previous posts and noticed that you mention a few details about supplements, but wondered whether you had tried the supplements recommended by Bonni Grimaldi on her website. I'm sure that getting the right balance of supplements is very important to their success. You may like to read some of the testimonials on her site, which are very impressive.Anyway, just thought this might help.
