  1. Hi Peggy, My nephew's TS just started getting bad over the past couple months. So I recommended Bonnie's sups for him. He is now doing very well. We also take them for me and my kids. We are all doing well. We are also doing a strict diet - No artificial anything. My wife cooks everything from scratch, most of it is very good. It was kind of tough for the first couple weeks making these changes in diet. But the results were indisputible and the soon things just became routine for all of us including my wonderful wife!! who was and is still up at 5 am. cooking breakfast planning out lunch and preparing the evening meal. We're all in this together and when you see great results it makes the difficulty of change seem very small. So, in brief, i would recommend bonnie's sups. And I would (as we do) go to a good environmental dr.
  2. I have read Bruce's book and spoke with him on the phone several times. We are currently doing his candida diet along with his recomended Nystatin. It's tough to say how well it is working because we are doing several other things (NAET, Supps, ect....) But i do believe it is helping to stengthen his immune system.
  3. Hi Michele, We tried the aminos several manths ago and didn't really get any results. So we stopped after a month as they were quite costly. But who knows, they might work if taken long enough.
  4. I bought it and thought it was horrible. Also, they do not give the money back gaurentee like they promise. I wrote them many times requesting it.
  5. Hi Caryn, Quick question, you said you did the bontech vits ... did you stop taking them? If so why? we are taking them and are having them good success - not sure i ever want to stop!! Thanks
  6. I don't think our is Pandas.
  7. Yes, definitely a color change. How are the vits working for everyone?? They're working pretty well for my son.
  8. Hi Carolyn, Ive had the stomach tic for 30 yrs. I am now on a special candida diet and take sups. I had great relief for the first time in 30 yrs from this tic last July. But than i had to take pain killers, antibiotics, and cortisone!!!! so now i am trying to work my way back to where i was in july. It was VERY nice to be 80% free from that tic fopr a while. With God's help I'll get there again.
  9. Hi Tom's mom, we have been using bontech sups wirth very good results over the past 7 months. We also stick to a very limited diet and we are currently having him treated for allergies with a NAET dr. Alot of this seems to be trial and error. There is so much that we can do for our kids. Up until about a year ago i didn't think there was anything that could be done for these tics (i had them for 30 yrs.) i am astounded to know that they can actually be treated and in most cases with great success. You said you tried bontech sups - did you have any success with them?
  10. Hi Annag, I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time. There is alot of help on this forum for tic problems. We use Bontech supplements (which are specifically made for kids with tics and ocd issues) and we found that they work quite well on our son. If you read through the posts on this forum as much as you can you shoulf be able to find some very useful information. During and after your reading through if you have questions right them down and than post them on here and someone will come along to try and help. I and many others on here know that feeling of hopelessness. But be assured, there is always hope, and if you continue searching and asking I believe you will find some help for your daughter.
  11. Hi Rfolckemer, It sounds like you're really going through it with your son. The best advice I can give you is to read as much as you can through prvious posts on this forum. It is what i did nearly a year ago, and i found a tremendous amount of help. During and after your reading ask questions about the things that you don't understand. People here are very helpful and compassionate. We went the natural approach from the beginning with our 5 year old. We give him Bontech supplements which help tremendously!! We also eat a very strict diet that has No artificial anything in it. Nearly everything is made from scratch. It is time consuming but the results are well worth it. It also might pay you to go to an "alternative Dr." We go to an environmental Dr. He ran all of the necessary tests before he developed a program for my son. I hope this helps - I'm sure this forum will be a great help in your quest to find help for your son.
  12. Terrific Pesosmom!!!, I just prayed yesterday for God to ease my burden of worry about our son's future. And a couple hours later read your post. Yours, along with many others on here gives tremendous hope and does in fact lift that burden. I to thanked God for the ACN forum and all of the terrific people who take time out of their busy schedules to post. May God bless everyone on this forum with great health, hope, perserverance and the answers they search for. And may God provide an extra blessing for those who dedicate their time and energy to help those (who come here in desparation) who never fail to provide a response even though they have many other things they could be doing with their time - they, and everyone here knows who they are. This is my prayer that I ask in our Lord's name, Amen.
  13. Thanks Chemar and Faith, I will look into these. And i agree Chemar - pretty silly to spend that much if we don't have to.
  14. Hello all, Can anyone recommend a good probiotic for a 6 and 7 year old? Our kids take EM and EM extra - recommended by our dr. We've been taking it for 5 months but it is very pricey - $90 for both bottles and we go through about 3 a month so it's about $200 per month!! I hate to do this behind my dr's back but he loves the stuff. He takes it every day and so, recommends it to many of his patients. But it is getting to costly for the long term for us. Thanks for the help.
  15. Hi Patty, We are doing NAET for our son, just started 2 weeks ago. Last Tuesday and Thursday he finnished the basic 5 with the B vits and sugar. He became very moody and remains that way today. I know it's because of the treatments because he was great until this past week. My question how long did it take for your son to get back to normal after the treatment? You mentioned that you seen an increase in syptoms. I'm wondering how normal this is to last for days. I'm hoping this clears up soon or i may ask the dr. to reverse it!
  16. Hi Michele, While we're not all on the same boat here, we are all in the same ocean. We felt like we were going to sink with the boatload of information we received from our dr. 5 months ago!! However it did greatly help our child and looking back (always so easy) it was well worth the effort. We will (like many here) have to follow a certain protocal, No artificial anything, limit carbs, supplement, ect.... but if it helps, the boy is happy and healthy, ticcing greatly decreased.... than the other stuff is just details. However, i can relate to your being overwhelmed. But i beleive you'll adapt as God's grace will be sufficient to meet all your needs, and he will not leave you nor forsake you. Also, we are always here for you to help you through the process.
  17. His tics increased Dramatically we had him up to 10 per day on day 3. Building slowly is a good idea. We sarted with 3, day two 6 and day three and beyond 10. He is 45 lbs.
  18. Hi adccl, Our son increased in tics with bonnies vits for about 3 weeks than there was improvement. He's doing quite well for past 5 months.
  19. I didn't have chicken pox ever. And i was told by a doctor who wrote "Feast without yeast" that to much probiotic can worsen the yeast - not sure if it's true or not. I take the probiotic from claire labs called Vital 10. Also our dr has us on some REALLY good stuff that he has been taking a long time and says he'll continue to take the rest of his life. It's a bit pricey though. Its called EM Extra and EM Mother Culture. You can check it out if you log on to mightymicrobes.com My son takes only bontech vits, butyrate, and fish oil and glutathione. I take quite a bit more. Thanks for the info Kim
  20. Kim, It's great to laugh!! I've had this ts since age 10 and i've always found it within myself to be a weird, quirky thing, sometimes even funny. But when my kid got it last year it wasn't so funny. But i do like to try to keep a sense of humor when situations and circumstances permit. I have been taking 3 billion probiotics since May. Interesting info about the gut you posted. I will keep it in mind, and thank you for that. Also i didn't quite answer how my program was put together. The enviro dr. did blood, urine, stool and hair tests. Spotted the deficiencies and abnormalties and put the progranm together from there. Also, Kim - do you ( or anyone) know if pain killers disturb or hurt the gut flora? Thanks.
  21. I don't know what happened i somehow got cut off in my last reply!? Amy - The nystatin is what many believe to be one of the best treatments for candida and it is a prescription drug and it is a small pill. Probiotics help to get the gut right - it is good if you have an overgrwth of bad bacteria in the gut. It brings balance and promoted good bacteria. Not reagaining any of the previous improvments yet Kim, but i will NEVER EVER give up!! It felt WAY to good to have those tics down by 50% - 80%. God has opened the window of healing for me. Next time, I'm jumping through it, slamming it shut than cementing the hole!!!
  22. Kim, The environmental dr. recommended the butyrate based on tests (i think it was the urinalysis). It was low which as i recall indicated the need for short chain fatty acids. I don't think i had these classic symptoms of candida: Group 1: The damage to the intestinal wall allows undesirable toxins to permeate into the bloodstream. This condition called ‘leaky gut syndrome’ often leads to: food allergies and intolerances migraines foggy brain muscle aches Group 2: Once through to the rest of the body, candida has the ability to disrupt the endocrine system causing symptoms such as: thrush cystitis PMS menstrual irregularities joint pains asthma hayfever sinusitis fungal infections of the nails/skin e.g. athlete’s foot weight gain or weight loss ear infections chronic tiredness allergies sensitivity to perfume, tobacco smoke and petrol Group 3: Symptoms in the intestines include: bloatedness flatulence diarrhoea and/or constipation itchy anus However the dr. is treating me for it with RESTRICTED diet and nystatin - The nystatin is what many believe to be one of the best treatments for candi
  23. Yes it did work well, until the antibiotics and pain killers and got off the diet for about a month. I am taking: bontech supps Vit e vit c probiotics glutathione butyrate nystatin Also eating a Very strict diet!! The candida diet. No sugars and very low carbs. Kind of bland but who cares.... it's so well worth it. Any other questions, please don't hesitate top ask me.
  24. Thanks everyone! I think the tic gooey feeling is the tickle sensation that i have. I'm hoping it's not, but if it is it is treatable. For the first time in 30 years that feeling went away for me this past summer due to the program i was on. Than!!!!! i had to take antibiotics and painkillers for a couple route canals. So i went off the program for about a month and it came back. So i am now back on the program trying to get that peace back.
  25. Hi Faith, this is another son. You are correct about the other one.
