If anyone is going on vacation, let us know. We will find someone to cast the votes for you. I have messaged by some parents willing to do that. Also, I am truly hoping we will get some trustworthy alliances and no comments will be needed for June. That will keep our page faster throughtout the month too. Everyone...I really think we have a good number of base votes by what comments are cast on other people's pages by PANDAS. I read competition comments to see who's handing out big votes and to see where we are voting. Remember we didn't really do the vote trading until well past a week into competiition. Then we did do very heavy trading until the 2 week mark. It will be impprtant that everyone does come back to this forum or the FB page right before June to see who we are voting for. Communication is going to be key.

I'm telling you, Peg is an entry in and of herself! You are amazing!!!!!!!!!! I do want to say, that if you do not have proxy votes, it's okay. To be honest, I don't have many of my own myself. Maybe my friends and family don't trust me? Do know that every single vote is important. I am only singling out proxies so when I approach other submissions, I have a ballpark figure of what we have to offer. I really am going to push my hardest to have set voting in June with only a couple side trades. The easier for everyone, the better. Hopefully, the kids will give me time to make contacts and the entries will return my request for opening up conversations. I cannot say who I am contacting or when since this is a public forum and anyone can read our posts. Yes, I'm paranoid:)

June is quickly approaching. Hopefully, comments will be reset and the system will work quicker. I know some may be getting burned out, esp if you have a proxy list. I need to know where everyone stands on June. Are you still in it? Will you continue to vote? Please, if you have proxy votes, tell me how many and if you will still be willing to cast them in June. I want to try my hardest to make June as simple as possible. I can't do that if I don't know what support I have from all of you great parents! I really need honest answers on this one. No feelings will be hurt. Thank you!

Just wanted to give all of you a quick update an what has been going on behind the scenes. I know we slipped, but we are not giving up. It's just not in the blood of a PANDAS parent to give up! In the last few days, we have traded a new 957 votes. So, it's not like we aren't trying, right? Just keep voting. If the site is slow, we've suggested alternative ways to cast your votes. I think we are doing well for it being our first month in this andnot knowing some of "tricks" from the get go. Be proud of yourselves. You're doing great!

This forum is a blessing. Not a day has gone by that I have not popped on it since I joined it. As a parent, you really have no know your stuff so it comes out naturally when you speak to a doctor, you are confident in what you say, and you don't get home just say 'shoot. I forgot to say that!'. There's need to be a PARENT run conference where doctors learn from the parents:)

Voting station has been discussed off forum before. I do not believe that will be an option. I will ask one more time then I will stop hounding people. If you are going, try to have our voting link printed to hand out. Print out the logo to hold up at the rally. Print out a smaller one to pin to your clothes. Have Buster's Fact sheet printed out. If someone asks you "what's PANDAS". You can give an overview and give them a sheet with more info. Have the latitudes site on there too. There's a list above of some ideas.

Ooohhhhhh...I don't know. Good question. Kelly, do you have an answer for that? There are 1341 submisisions in the competition thismonth. they only accept 1000 at the beginning of the month. So, that's 341 extra. That makes me think 100 for each catagory. Perhaps others pulled out after rolling over. I know at least one that will do that this month if they don't win

Also, there is a mom and pop operation we are trading votes with. These people are so grateful and so nice. If you can see these emails they send me, your heart would be touched.They are ranked at 102. I know we can easily push them to 100 for roll over. I know they may not have hundreds to reciprocate, but they are doing this from their heart and we can help them. I have a feeling a lot in the top 10 were roll overs from last month and knew the "tricks" already. We do need to maintain a good ranking this month in order to show we are an asset in June. We have A LOT of votes to give. More than most. OK, here goes the analyzing realist who often sees the glass as being empty or containing fluid! Could it be possible that the projects sitting real pretty- probably had a very firm foundation going in-, now are pulling out all the stops to maintain their position in the top 10, doing this by luring allies away from us? My thinking is that now is near the time to sew up alliances with others in a similar position as us--all behind the scenes, of course--for next month. Is there a way to snuggle up to some "probable" winners and at least solicit votes ahead for next month, also. KEEP VOTING!!!!!!!! I'm thinking people are realizing we have got a good voting base. It seems they are posting more votes than usual. Yes, we still slipped, but if we take advantage of this, I hope we take a lunge to the top 10. Thank you to everyone who has been dealing with the slow site and forging forward. Memorial Day Weekend...please plan your votes accordingly. if you are going out of town, let us know and I will try to match them up with someone to cast them. Also, the last day of voting, try to get your votes in as early as possible. The site usually closes at 8pm on the last day and it will move even slower due to people perfecting submissions for midnight. I hope everyone knwos how much we appreciate your help. Couple things, for some reason, it's not letting some emails vote. I don't know why. I have encountered this with 2 of my proxy votes. What I suggest is if the site isn't freezing, but just won't let you sign in, is to set up a gmail email account and vote with that. If it's freezing, this is what I suggested on the pinned thread. I do wonder how many votes we are losing do to technical difficulties

Autism One attendees... I wanted to message each of you and ask you to print out our sign, or make a smaller version to clip to your attire, etc, but I just don't have the time. Please consider this. If it's easier for me to email you anything, message me and I will email you. If you are attending the free rally, I would absolutely love to have signs represented there. Not even for voting, but to make a statement. Think about it.

Welcome. Yes, take him to the dr and get him on antibiotics. If the rapid is negative, make sure they run a culture and ask that they put him on antibiotics while waiting culture results. Often they will do that upon request. But....if culture comes back negative DO NOT take him off the antibiotics. Make sure you change your toothbrush too if you had strep! I'm thinking you may be new to posting here, but have been reading? Do you have all the important links like the fact sheet, FAQ, etc or do you need those? They are all in the pinned threads at the top of the forum.

Yes, our site is slowing down. It's those comments.If your computer is not working with the site, either contact us and pass on your email, vote through the facebook voting application (super easy) or go to your profile which will be at the bottom of the screen after you sign in and your voting history pops up. You can vote from there. If you have the website saved in your favorites, enter the website on the main page so you don't have to wait for our page to fully load up. Hope some of these suggestions help. If you are on FB and cannot find the voting application, friend me and you will see it on my wall. Once you vote from it, you can post it on yours. But when you friend me, tell me what you name here is. I'm "protective" about accepting friend invites. Remember, the vote to PANDAS is the most important one to cast. Those who still can get the Pepsi site to work, please continue to trade votes. Just try your best everyone! I know you are. You guys are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
