AmberM Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 Yes, the birth defects would be caused by the mother taking the drug while pregnant. I think you had to be off of it for a couple of months but I went off of it for a year to be cautious. I was able to get pregnant naturally and all my symptoms resolved while pregnant. Maybe I just got lucky! I'm doing really well now. I'm 6 mos pregnant again with no problems! -Amber

EAMom Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 It's a diuretic...have you noticed your kids drinking more or peeing more?
Stephanie2 Posted May 5, 2010 Author Report Posted May 5, 2010 No, I have not noticed them drinking or peeing more. However, I have a friend who's autistic son tried this drug and he was peeing his pants at the age of 4 b/c of the increased urination. also he was getting up multiple times to urinate. she stopped the medicine b/c of that. In our case the results are worth the constipation. Our doc said to just give more magnesium and vitamin c... Stephanie It's a diuretic...have you noticed your kids drinking more or peeing more?
