JSCCMOM
I found a toothpaste that has no colorings, chemicals, preservatives, or sweeteners. It is also detergent free. (SLS) It's called "Healthy teeth & gums toothpaste" by "the natural dentist". There's a # on back: 1-800-615-6895 also www.thenaturaldentist.com website. Hope this helps! I don't know why fluoride would be a problem?

I don't know why fluoride would be a problem? Well flouride is asically toxic to the body. i let my kids use regular toothpaster though. I just thought the cleaning might be to much. ab
patty
Abbe, I had posted re: flouride in teeth polish sometime in Nov of this year. Anyways, with a conventional dentist, even if you opt out on the flouride treatment, you are still getting a dose from the teeth polish. Holistic dentist do not use flouride in any of their products and they are very consciencous about toxicity with individuals. Pat
Chemar
Abbe from our experience it is best to stay as far away from the fluoride in dental procedural cleaning and in toothpastes. their are thankfully dentists now who recognize the problems with fluoride and dont use it. if yours still does use it, simply tell them you do not want it used on your son. both my kids have strong healthy teeth and we have not been near fluoride with them since they were very young
