Guest Guest_efgh
Claire What an amazing set of results , sounds so complete! congrats on finding such an ideal doctor. Have you started fish oil supplementation? is it liquid oil , what brand? If I remember right, you mentioned that your previous allergy test revealed some allergy for wheat, gluten.. Is this a different allergy test?? How are your son's sleep issues/moods now? goodluck to you and we are so happy for you that you are proceeding in the right direction. Guest Guest_efgh
Claire Which multivit do you give your son?? what did the doctor recommend. Chemar One advice from you...I have since 3 weeks stopped giving my son the daily multivit since it had iron and copper. looking for an appropriate one still. But I am continuing to give him the magnesium taurate, flax oil, calcium and zinc. Is it ok to do so till the time I get hold of a good multivit ...I have fixed an appointment with a naturopath on March 1 ...Lets see how it goes. I came across a good multivit from a company (california) www.allergyresearchgroup.com (it contains no iron, no copper and no vitamin D). When i called the company, they said its more ideal for adults and not kids.. am not sure... any advice on this product/company as such? http://www.allergyresearchgroup.com/prodde...ategory/mvm.htm (product no 70200) thanks. Jennifer
Claire, I'm so happy you got all those tests back. Could you please tell me the name of the test your DR. did for the vitamin levels? Our son had one done a year ago, but it was not near as complete as the one you son had done. We have our appt. on the 20th of this month and it would be nice to have that test done as well. Thanks a million, Jennifer
Jennifer
Claire, I've been told that barley flour is a good alternative to wheat it has plenty of gluten for the rising action and it basically tastes like white flour. Phyl
Claire, That's interesting that your doctor wants to wait to build up your son's levels of antioxidants first before working on the "elevated yeast/fungal metabolites indicating a yeast/fungal overgrowth..." I will be very interested to hear what happens with this, as that is the same test result that my son has. His levels are now down to about twice the amount they should be, but before we treated for this, they were much much higher (don't have the papers right here). Keep us updated! Guest Guest_efgh
Claire I am very much interested in finding more info from you on fish oil. What a coincidence - I just came across the same nordic natural fish oil in our drug stores How good is that company?? But as per Dr Mercola website, Carlson liquid fish oil is one of the purest with lowest level of mercury. DID YOUR DOCTOR GIVE THE NORDIC NATURAL FISH OIL OR DID YOU BUY IT SEPARATELY? what is the dosage that you give your son (after food, before or when??). when did you start on the fish oil? Based on your inputs and assurance, I would buy this and start for my son.. thanks a million in advance.
Guest Guest_efgh
Claire Does that mean your son is allergic to wheat but not to gluten? Can you explain this stuff to me? I can't follow this. Looks like your doctor has cracked the whole thing in a very exhaustive manner.. good! I am really happy for you. thanks

Guest Guest_efgh
Claire thanks for info on fish oil. Will check it out. Are you giving cod liver oil or fish oil?? I heard the hair analysis test gives info on minerals, heavy metals etc. Claire, what test did you run to get details on vitamin deficiencies and fatty acid deficiencies? was it a blood test to find out details on fatty acid deficiencies and vitamin deficiencies? Did you also run hair analysis test for your son to test for heavy metals and minerals? thanks

Guest Jean
Hi Efgh, I didn't give you the correct information on the fish oil that our naturopath gave to us. The correct name is "Super EFA liquid" that contains concentrated pure fish oil and EPA/DHA. I couldn't get much information from the internet. Here is the only one that I found from google search engine: http://www.seroyal.com/Seroyal/Products/503.htm
Guest Guest_efgh
Jean Thanks for the link. will check it soon. Claire Thanks a lot for your info on arctic cod liver oil. My friend was mentioning that she too uses the same product mentioned by you for her son's tics, etc. She passed the link to me and here it is https://www.nordicnaturals.com/direct/prods...ummary.asp?ID=8 Looks like your doctor also prescribed the same thing. In fact, this time she wants to start using the plain one (without orange essence ) since her kid is allergic to citrus. she said the company and the product is great. Today, I purchased the complete allergy sheets set and have started using it.. did you notice any significant improvement after you started using for your son's mattress? thanks
