Andy
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sheila for all that she has done. A large part of what I know I learned from reading the referrals that Sheila has posted and every referral she has posted was wow. So thank you Sheila. Sheila
Thanks for the nice note, Andy. I know that you're a very helpful participant on this forum. It's so great to have such knowledgeable people posting! The forum is going to be shut down any day now for a few days, then back up on a new server. ad_ccl
Just want to add my thank you, thank you, thank you...if it were not for this forum and the wonderful people who visit we would have been down a very different path....my sincere gratitude to Sheila, Claire, Ronna, Chemar as well as Andy, Marie, Kim and the phantom Dara among so many others - when the site was shut down I realized how often I actually check in through the day and look forward to updates as well as learning new info. You are all such a wonderful group of people and your children are so fortunate to have you as their mothers and fathers. As an update, my son is doing very well again, just the minor nose twitch that seemed to be the last tic to go last time he was sick. He is happy, doing great in school and a joy to parent - he and his brothers are such blessing. They all look the same but have their own unique personalities. Andy - I did start the L-taurine and started with a low dose from the capsule and have increased to about 250 a day. Absolutely no eye stuff is going on. Ps I am in Canada so do not get the new york times, is there a way I can see the article on line? I will check once the kids get to bed.

kim
Sheila, I too would like to add my Thanks. Latitudes and this site have given me such hope that the road for my youngest son, will have less bumps than my oldest had to endure. The support and sharing is wonderful, thanks for making it possible. Kim
Guest
I also want to thank Sheila for this great website, latitudes newsletters, and all the support and suggestions she's given me. Latitudes has made a huge difference in my life. No one would have ever thought I would someday be med free. With the information I've learned from this site, newsletters, and Sheila I believe this will come true. I'm continuing to decrease clonidine slowly and am now 6 weeks from being totally med free for the first time in 16 years. There's one other person I want to thank and I can't remember who that person is. About 7 years ago while I was chatting at brainchat someone paid for me to have a subscription to latitudes newsletters. This opened the doors for me to alternative treatments. If I didn't know about latitudes I don't really know where I'd be at right now. I really think we'd still be trying meds and I would still have severe ts.
