Considering I live in an area where most kids will be told to seen a particular neurologist that isn't keen on PANDAS, I think a lot of kids in my area go misdiagnosed. So, I would be curious to know what the "OCD/TS" rates are in Ohio. Do they keep tabs on things like that?

Done. On the fever question... I don't know if my son had a fever within 2 days, but he DID have a fever within a week or so past sudden onset. I can look up the exact time frame, if needed.He had a mysterious 102.4 fever that lasted one day then went away. Within a few days apart. so did my other 2 non-PANDAS kids. To get more eerie...all 3 kids had the same fever temp! My non-PANDAS kids did get tested for strep at the time and neither of them had strep. Now, with subsequent exacerbations, I don't belive that fever occurred. Just the first time.

Hopefully, this will be the last list I will ever have to put together. I feel I should make a bonfire for the stacks of paper I have sitting next to me that I've compiled! Here it goes... I'm happy you're able to get together! I have yet to ever meet another PANDAS parent or child in person...at least not to my knowledge.

Yes, I would LOVE for everyone to continue supporting those who helped us. I plan on posting a list of our main supporters maybe tomorrow. I just needed one day off from referring to my stack of papers. I think I will do one reference list for facebook and one for this site. We had a lot of help. By dividing up the list, the support will be fairly given to all. I also have a request for support for a cause in the fb Chase contest. I will give more info on that tomorrow as well.

In a day or so, I would like to post the main causes that helped us and ask that you continue to help them this month. They were awesome too. The pepsi page says we have to wait until 6am to make it official as they update the website for the next month. But at midnight we were ranked 6. We could not have dropped out. Say WE DID IT!

And then the camera pans to a very large group of kids with PANDAS all cheering and jumping up and down. The commentator then talks to a doctor over satellite connection and says "now I thought you said that PANDAS was a rare disorder..." and the doctor is left sputtering, having nothing to say.

I'm checking too. Other causes are watching ranks, including ours, to try to make sure no surprise last votes for others occur in an effort to blindside us and somehow take us out.. Some still have votes to put in. Now, we wait.....

Also, before I forget, tomorrow....In the past, I believe the Pepsi page for VOTING has been open until midnight Eaastern Time. However, to be safe maybe we can try to get our voting done by 8pm ET. I know this may not be possible for everyone, but if it's a possibility, I suggest doing it. The site may be bogged down at the very end. When voting ends at midnight, then there will a 1/2 hour window before the final ranks are posted. So, we will not know our final rank until 12:30am ET. Finally, note, if we end in the top 10, we are declared FINALISTS. There is then a 2-3 week audit of results and eventually winenrs will be announced in the later part of July.

This is amazing! I cannot stress enough how much these causes are rooting for us. I get these emails from them and I tear up. Strangers are there fighting for our kids. It is truly amazing. PANDAS is the top health cause in 50K.....AMAZING!
