trintiybella got a reaction from dcmom in She's running me ragged.
Since starting all of these antibiotics, my child has a little more focus but she is so focused that when I say "no" to any of her thoughts, War World lll breaks out!!! So my day is running anywhere she wants to go and it is literally killing me. I am out of energy. We run to target and Walmart all hours of the night, buy tons of clothes that she ends up not liking the next day and then we return. This happens every day!!! Her anxiety about her life being wasted away is over the top and she wants every waking hour filled with things to do. I am not kidding. I am exhausted. I decided with treatment I would do whatever it takes to get her through this, but I can't do it anymore. The doctor wants me to keep her on all of the abx. and just keep adding things to calm her, but nothing seems to stop her from being more aggressive with the abx. (they make her thoughts more powerful and the need to follow through on whatever thought she has and she is unstoppable) It is really not that I am a weak parent. You CAN NOT say the word no to her. She was not like this when the abx. weren't on board. Can anyone relate to this? Any what would you do?? Thanks!!! IVIG is not an option because we don't have the money for it and insurance is not paying.

trintiybella reacted to Hopeny in Worse since IVIG - in a very bad place. Nowhere to turn.
There is a lyme center at Columbia run by a psychiatrist Brian Fallon. I presume that they take insurance. Might be worth calling him, I called him once and he returned my call but he does not see children which is what I was looking for.

However, in immunocompromised individuals, S. Boulardii has been associated with (fungemia) or localized infection, which may be fatal.

trintiybella got a reaction from cobbiemommy in Took shower in his own bathroom!
That is so awesome and I completely understand. My girl showered in her shower too, that she has always stayed away from because she was so claustrophobic! Made my day???

trintiybella got a reaction from anonymous0121 in Bartonella/lyme "without" Inflammation?
Is is possible that my child can have lyme/bartonella, and have no brain inflammation. She reacts very poorly and gets worse with motrin and also turns into satan with steroids. Both of these are for brain inflammation, so if she does so horribly with them and they don't help...wouldn't that mean there is no inflammation? Thanks!

trintiybella reacted to trintiybella in My First Post
I'm sorry for you! She does love you, she's just too sick right now. She will feel better and you will hear her say "I love u mom." It must be so hard with other children in the picture. I can't imagine! Hang in there. Wish I could help more but I have a mess here too. It's like living in a war zone 24/7. Sometimes I think a little anxiety medicine for us moms is not a bad idea!!!

trintiybella got a reaction from JuliaFaith in Okay, some good news at last. Motrin helping but why?
Rowingmom...regarding: the "bacteria being parasitic"
Could that be why my child started to sleep a little when I added black walnut oil in for parasites?

trintiybella got a reaction from cobbiemommy in This is what is happening.
Just spoke to Dr. T. (PANDAS) He wants us in 8am tomorrow for more blood work. He said he needs to check for viruses and that Anti-NMDA thing. He said the Anti-NMDA test is usually a spinal tap but he can do blood work too. Not sure if I have that right. He said he will do more in depth testing than NYU (Najjar) I guess I will start with him.
