JuliaFaith Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) After not being able to get my ds12 in to see an immunologist that knows about PANDAS, my doctor may start doing some of the tests that would be done. On this forum, I did read about the c3d circulating immune complexes test and a Stricker CD57 test. Any other ones that would be good to know about? So far the only test that came back positive was from Dr. Cunningham's study but there has been no relief of symptoms in 5 mos. Thank you! Edited August 6, 2010 by JuliaFaith

I have been told that the labcorp cd57 test for lyme does not work for kids.

dut Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 hi - you see dr keller? (sorry if I'm mixed up) if so, we did some really comprehensive testing with Dr B via tel consult for our dd7. If you would like I can pm you the tests or drop them with dr Keller when we see her in a couple of weeks time.. (only thinking of dropping 'cos there are LOTS and my typing ain't so quick and I don't have a scanner) thanks...
sf_mom Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) Great, great list that was provided.... I am not positive the Stricker DC 57 is appropriate for children due to varian results but he did do it for my friend's son, Dr. Stricker and it came out indicative of Lyme. Definitely do the circulating immune complexes as well as test for Lyme/co-infections via Igenex. -Wendy Edited August 7, 2010 by SF Mom

That would be great if you could drop them off at her office and let her know they are for questions on 'Kyle C.' Thank you so much for your help. Best wishes.
