When's the cut off for submitting something for March? If we don't have time to create our own pictue, what do you think about the pic on the PANDAS Network website? It's simple, but it's at least a picture and it ties things together. Otherwise, what do you guys think should be incorporated into a logo/pic?

 

Also, where ever we decide to refer to PANDAS in the title, type it out P.A.N.D.A.S.

Yeah...not sure the pic of the bear is good...........need something more relevant and catching.....just in my opinion.

 

What about a photo.........of a child with his head down (to remain annonymous...maybe even a hat of some sort for same reasons)....with hands over ears (shutting the world out)..... camera angled just to the point so you can see the eyes are clinched shut??? Wonder if my son would be willing.....he is pretty standard looking......

 

 

Of course with the acronym P.A.N.D.A.S., and then what is stands for underneath..

 

Thoughts?

Try to see if he'll let you do the photo.. I think it's hard to sum it up in a "clip art" picture. I think a photo of a child looking the way you described, would draw the attention of people who are just skimming through the options to vote on.

 

p.s. I'm not crazy about the bear idea either. I was just trying to think of a stock photo:)

For those interested....I got a rough idea with a snapshot of my older son. This is just an idea/rough "draft." I would tweek it.....use a different color hat (or do you think the orange is eye catching)......make sure the pic is clearer and have his face lifted just a bit more.

 

And of course the header..

I didn't know how else to capture PANDAS in a snapshot....like, how do you capture ocd, tics, anxiety, etc. But, this captures how a child feels....like he may be going crazy....and, with all the intrusive thoughts/ocd thoughts and all.....I thought this may work.

 

Any others ideas are welcome!

Just an idea,

 

What about Ellen's sons website. It come directly from a childs point of view, trying to make others understand. It touched my heart alot.

Good job on the photo but I think it's needs a little tweeking. It's gonna be hard to do it w/ keeping the child's privacy. Let me think on it and I'll come back w/ some suggestions.

I quickly threw together an idea but I can't figure out how to post it on here! It's not a photo so we could change anything on it. I do have it saved as a jpeg. Let me brainstorm how I can post it.

I like the new one better. Was he laughing right before the picture was taken? He looks like he's smiling a little. He looks so cute! I do like it!

 

 

If you message me your email, I can email you the image. I only worked on it for maybe 2 minutes so if you hate it, it won't hurt my feelings. I figured if it was something that was a "maybe", I'd put more effort into it.
