dee45
HI, I also posted this on the PANDAS page. Brad Cohens movie Front of the Class airs Saturday I was going to let Anthony watch it and my mother in law was like you should not let him watch this she gave me no real reasons why. Now I am starting to doubt myself. I sent Brad an email about a year ago when this was all so new and he sent me an email back he is awesome. He was very kind and gave me some good insight. www.classperformace.com Deanna
CSP
That's a tough call. The scenes where he is a boy could be hard on a child if they have a hard time with their tics, because of the how frustrated he is when adults don't understand him. Most of the time the other children are laughing because I think they believe he is the class clown. I do not believe they make fun of him, but that is hard to know how a child would view that. It really is a great movie. Good luck, CP
faith
oh no, here we go again, lol......... is this on a major network? we had this conversation last year when the movie came out. with all he's going thru right now, it might be good, but yea, wouldn't want him to feel bad about the boy and think this will happen to him. Chemar
I always think that, with young kids and how they are "at" re their having tics, one should always watch these kinds of movies oneself, then make the educated decision on whether or not to share with your child. maybe record it, watch it, and then decide and even save it for later, when older and more understanding for the record I think it is a great story
CSP
It is On CBS, This would be a great time for you all to e-mail your childrens' teachers letting them know it will be on. It is such a great movie to educate folks who really did not know much about TS. It is wonderful for us as parents to see it, because we see through Brad how one can grow and still do well, doing all that with a happy heart. Brad has such a great spirit it is touching to watch.
