AHB900
Hey everyone, ive noticed its really hard for me to be in a good mood or energetic. Usually im quiet and never really up and happy. Is there anyway to improve my mood? I know when things are right i can be a energetic guy who talks a good amount. I dont know if its my tics or what but is there some sort of a supplement which is tic friendly that can help me with my mood? Thanks
MichaelTampa
I take a lot of supplements, but the one that helps for my mood-related symptoms that you describe is SAM-e. I have heard from a few different doctors that Jarrow brand is the best, and it is the brand I take. I take the 200 mg tablet. Like so many things, mood is complicated and no guarantee this will be helpful for you, but since you asked, this is what is helpful for me. Hope you find something that helps. Chemar
I agree on the samE methionine has always been helpful for my son, but with his recent OCD /anxiety flare we started samE @ just 200mg per day and the effect has been most encouraging! AHB900
i did some research on SAmE and it kinda scared me. It said only take SamE with supervision if you have anxiety and depression etc. now i don't know if i have those but sometimes i feel that i might. So I don't know if its a good idea for me. Chemar
?? I am not sure where you read that but it sounds more like conventional alarmism to me The form like Jarrow's is used by many people for joint/skeletal pain relief too as it has glucosamine added Target sells their own (Origin) brand which is just the samE with vit C and Vit B2(riboflavin) I guess you have to do whatever you feel is best, but 200mg samE a day has been really good for my son
