I just wanted to let everyone know that things are going well for Danny he is on medication now (not thrilled with meds )but what a huge difference. I just hung up with his teacher who describes danny as a well mannered great student I said thank god hes 15 and has gone through 1 1/2 years of ticcccing from complex motor to coperiala(sp) he still has tics still cursing but much better hes able to go to partys able to be out in the world I am going to see his pdoc today to check about side effects from meds but so far so good pray for us also has anyone ever heard of or tried the Sylencer®/Stenomask®? Im thinking this may be a good idea

Hi hes taking risperadal 1mg per day it has really helped no more rages still tics but not nearly as much Im not a huge fan of meds but he reallly needed something and we tried everything else so for now we will do this the steno thing is a device that stenographers use so the kids can tic into it so noone can hear them verbal tics I saw it somewhere on a site Stenomask Sylencer - Talk System http://www.talk-tech.net/pages/sylencer.html thought it looked interesting
