faith
I'm just doing a little poking around and got interested in the herb "skullcap". I think I have looked at this before as it states some about calming muscle twitches and it is one of the ingredients in a product called "Deprex" put out by makers of "Attend". It stated it was good for calming sensory? http://health.howstuffworks.com/skullcap-herbal-remedies.htm Curious if anyone has any experience with this? Any opinions? Could it be worth a try for any of you? http://health.howstuffworks.com/skullcap-herbal-remedies.htm Thanks Faith

I find it interesting that your tics got worse around 18, but through childhood and tween, it was not so much?
footballguy
footballguy, but did you notice if it had any effect on tics? Did you feel less urge to tic? Faith p.s. I find it interesting that your tics got worse around 18, but through childhood and tween, it was not so much? I used to take skullcap pills and chamomile tea before summer school. I think it defintely relaxed me and helped me tic less but small difference. To me there are a lot of things that seem to make a small difference that can help you. But you have to put the whole puzzle together. I'm not going to say its going to make a huge difference but will probally defintley make him more relaxed and tic a little bit less. Maybe you could find a tea of like chamomile, skullcap, and give it to him in the morning to calm him central nervous system down a little. I would also take the skullcap on my lunch break along with some other vitamins.
