Dear Carol_lsc,

My son has autism and a 4+ sensitivity to coconut, amongst other things such as soy, eggs and rice, so along with being on a gluten-casein free diet, I am trying to figure out how to eliminate as much coconut as possible. Your earlier post was helpful and I was wondering if you have found anything without fluoride and coconut to use as a toothpaste? My son is 4, so baking soda might be a difficult sell. Thanks for your help. PCD Please feel free to e-mail me direct. Thanks! PCD

Hi Pcd,

I haven't been able to find any fluoride & coconut free toothpaste yet. I'll let you know if I do. I'd also be interested in any that you may find.

Carolyn & PCD

have you tried the natural toothpowders sold at Whole Foods and other health stores

my son gets teeth tics from past and so has used powders and finds them good. I dont think they have any coconut and I know they dont have fluoride. I'm not near one right now to read ingredients but am pretty sure they are free of those,

iherb sells some good natural herbal mouthwash too
