Help for airborn allergies?

Does anyone know of a natural (no drug, no artificial anything etc....) remedy for airborne allergies? We've been using something natural (don't know the name) that seemed to work for a week or two, but our son's have been very stuffy and watering eyes for the past couple weeks. Since there are still a couple weeks of allergy season left i would like to try something else.

we run the air conditioner with specialized filters 24/7 and my son frequently cleans his nose with a saline solution, along with using Bach's Rescue remedy when needed. We also have a hepa filter in his bedroom

I did check out Bach's remedy online this morning before i posted. I remmember you mentionimg it before - about a month ago on a post. The description said it was for stress relief. Do you find that it also provides allergy relief? Thanks.

I have read that people who suffer plant allergies have had relief with aromatherapy oils.

I believe having them in your bath with steam helps to loosen mucus, or diffused into the air.

 

If you have a local store who carry aromatherapy oils maybe they could help you choose a good oil that will help.

yes, itsme, altho the Bach's RR is more of a calminative, we found it also seemed to soothe respiratory allergy symptoms for my son

yes, steaming with aromatherapuetic oils is also very beneficial

 

an African plant called BUCHU is excellent for this

Sometimes I wonder if what I read is good advice. We don't have allergies that effect eyes, throat and nose.

 

I was afraid itsme was going to ask me what plant oils would be a good start, and had we tried any. In my house my son is lucky if I let him have OXYGEN!
