We started seeing a ped chiro recently and she suggested in addition to adjusting my son's neck since he has a head tic, also massaging my son's lymph nodes for sinus drainage (he has nasal inflammation and bloody nose often). Also, the lymph node drainage helps with detox.

Our last office visit with her (last Thursday), she slightly adjusted his neck and massaged his lymph nodes for drainage. That night while eating dinner, my son's head nodding tic returned. The head nodding tic subsided after the epsom bath. And on Saturday, the head nod tic returned, mostly while eating and watching TV. So Sunday morning, another epsom bath.

Sorry for being so long winded. My question is, can detox from lymphatic drainage cause more tic symptoms as well as physical symptoms? My son has been complaining about headache lately. Also, this morning upon awake, he complained about headache, sore throat and stomach ache.

Is this a typical detox process? Thx!

hi Patty

I answered in more detail on your amalgam thread but yes, the lymphatic system traps toxins and infective agents etc and so when the lymph nodes are drained, a detox reaction can result
