pixiesmommy Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I have had sore shoulders/trapezoid muscles for 3 days now and this morning woke w/extremely sore lymph nodes in my neck. I don't have any other symptoms, and rarely get sore/swollen glands even when ill. My 3 yr old has a nasty upper respiratory thing, but I have no other symptoms. Just trying to figure out if this is a herx or I'm getting sick. Not that it matters, just curious if anyone else has had these symptoms as a herx.... ?
pixiesmommy Posted March 24, 2011 Author Report Posted March 24, 2011 Well, apparently those aren't lymph glands that hurt- they are CYSTS. Off to email LLMD. Anyone else have actual cysts like this? One in my neck and one on my inner thigh. Lovely.
pixiesmommy Posted March 25, 2011 Author Report Posted March 25, 2011 Talking to myself MIGHT be another symptom LOL I think it's a lymph. After reading and looking at lymph diagrams, I'm quite sure it is. Sounds like Lyme cysts are microscopic and dont' cause stuff like this. Not that I wouldn't be an aberration, cause you know
Suzan Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 It's a lymph, it's a cyst, it's a lymph, it's a cyst.... LOL! I am so sorry, but you gave me a chuckle this morning because this sounds so much like me! I hope you see your LLMD and find out what it is. Sounds to me like it could be a herx. How are you this morning? I have had some werid things happen to me. The other day my jaw locked up and I could not close my mouth all the way. It was either lyme or my allergy shot. It was scary but luckily went away. Susan
pixiesmommy Posted March 25, 2011 Author Report Posted March 25, 2011 No problem- I find it pretty hilarious myself He wrote back and said put a hot compress on it. LOL A friend told me to bounce on the trampoline to drain it if it's a lymph. Yeahhhhh I tried that for about, oh 3 seconds, and it may have helped the "thing" but not the rest of my body!
sptcmom Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 (edited) One of my patients- 4.5 years old with positive Lyme has recently had a cyst removed from the blood supply to the parietal lobe area of the brain which was compressing the artery and causing weakness on one side of his body. Was removed and was full of bacteria but the hospital claims they were unable to identify the exact nature of the creatures. Whatever. Atleast the child is ok. Your symptoms sound like a herx. I had sudden onset of swelling and pain on the right side of my ribs front and back. Excrutiating pain on laughing, coughing, sneezing, even deep breaths- acute inflammatory costochondritis one sided though. The lumpiness is dying out now a week later and off Doxy and the pain is better too. Heavy detox and Klinghardt protocols helped. Oh and yes, for increasing Lymph drainage in your concerned area we used the remedy Septonsil from Bioresource very very successfully.Very helpful for upper respiratory/neck area lymph drainage. can be mixed in with Burbur/Parsley. Jodie So glad to hear the yong boy is ok...crazy! off topic- I would like to add Parsley (already in my cupboard) to the Burbur I'm giving my daughter. Can they be mixed together? I give my dd 15 drops of burbur in am/pm...should I slowly add in 15 drops of the parsley - taking it to 30 drops of both, am/pm.

Donot use metal spoon to stir. You don't have to be slow with detox stuff. just do it. Shouldn't have any problem.
pixiesmommy Posted March 28, 2011 Author Report Posted March 28, 2011 Lymph slowly decreasing in size. My biofeedback tech thinks it may be hormone-related, which I think is interesting. I do have a hormone imbalance. Fatigue is worse, and lots of gall-bladder pain. (Unfortunately I can identify this because about 15 yrs ago doctors wanted to remove my gallbladder and I chickened out and eventually the pain went away...) Will look into Klinghardt stuff, thanks!
