dabel Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 All four of my boys have had illness induced changes. Three of them have been diagnosed with PANDAS. We are now finding out that Lyme may be what set the stage for the PANDAS. All of us that have been tested are positive. We are still waiting on my oldest son's results. All present differently from very severe to relatively mild.
colleenrn Posted February 10, 2011 Report Posted February 10, 2011 Four children all with PANDAS. They present very differently though. Two nieces/ nephews have PANDAS. Also suspicious of three other cousins. IMO, I think if sibling has PANDAS, it is likely others will and drs should understand that, not think we are crazy. When talking to your Dr, remind them of rheumatic fever. If a sibling had RF, de would be keeping an eye on siblings
Stephanie2 Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 I'm thinking...print this out and show to your ped. But then again it will probably just tick him/her off and he/she will just say we are all just a bunch of wackos. (well, I guess that's not so far from the truth ! Ha! )
3boysmom Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 3 boys and they present differently.
