What a nice sign of healing! PANDAS stole the majority of Allie's childhood. Since she has been getting better, I've been determined to let her do some of the things she's missed, even though she is already 16yo.

So tonight, she dressed up as "Dr. Frankenstein, pediatric brain surgeon" and we walked around the neighborhood for an hour trick or treating. This is her first time and it was so fun!!!

That is the most wonderful thing I have heard in a long time.

You all deserve all this joy, and so much more.

Congratulations.

Peg - I was HONESTLY thinking of you all night wondering if Allie got to trick or treat! I remember you posting that a few months ago. I was afraid to ask just in case it did not work out. What a WONDERFUL post this was to read!! :)

Happy, happy! Joy, joy!

At last this year, it was no PANDAS tricks for Allie, just treats! Bet she's on Cloud 9! And she'll have candy for a few days to remind her of a really special day.

Help yourself to a Snickers for a job well done!

OMG!!! I am so happy for you and Allie. I admit, over the last few days, I've wondered if you were going to take her but didn't want to ask in case you weren't. I am so happy for you!
