unless your dog goes to be boarded or dog parks or anywhere where there are a lot of dogs, I wouldnt give the kennel cough vax. Its not needed. keep in mind Vet hospitals are businesses. They want to make money, and skipping vaccines like this keeps your bill down. I was a hospital manager and saw some messed up stuff. Doctors suggesting meds that were not the best because they got a discount on it therefore making more money My suggestions on dogs 3 and over dhlpp (distemper combo) every 3 years Rabies as required by law in your state thats it, if you need to board your dog then you may need more but totally skip Lyme vaccines!!! Just use advantix regularly my dogs do not have Lyme but I do!!!

Colleen. I dont blame you for worrying. But if it helps my 8 month old is a terrible napper. She WILL NOT sleep alone. It stinks. I have tried everything, She takes 4-6 20 min power naps a day only in my bed with me in it. the 20 minute stuff is bizzare. She also sleeps with us which I hate because of safety issues etc... My baby is on formula though. My kiddo also is very intense and agitated at rest time. It might be better lately. I realized that she was in pain from REFLUX. starting meds made it better for her to lay down. Does she spit up at all? my baby doesnt all the time and still has it. I honestly would be more worried about Lyme for my baby, I think she is ok and the cord, placenta and cord blood was PCR neg. Would our pedi try a course of amoxi? I think our kids are too young to test for any TBI or at least mine is because she will just have my antibodies, I forget did you test pos for Lyme? If you did or had specific bands, I would worry about LYme. good luch momma. If I come up with any solutions to the nap thing I will let you know.

Modified live vax means that the pathogen has been modified so it can not cause the disease but parts of the germ is present so immune system will react and create antibodies. If you need helo finding info on vax every 3 years lmk, I can find it

Lepto is a spirochete like lyme. Animals and people get it thru infected urine. so say your dog walks thru the grass where a possum thats infected just peed. Then your dog licks his feet... or your dog drinks out of a stagnant puddle. Thats how your dog gets infected. How old is the dog? if dog is 3 and had all shots till now , you can wait 3,years. Some of the lepto cant be removed from vax.

I believe the last five items listed in the vaccine you posted are all strains of lepto. The rest I wouldnt worry about at all

my daughter 8 months had a live oral vaccine. No one in my house had a problem. The vaccines that you are giving your dog are generally only canine diseases, except the lepto. So your child can not get canine distemper etc. I was a vet tech for a long time and as of 5 years ago the lepto part was a killed vaccine. I personally do not give my dogs vaccines Dhlpp (distemper combo) more than every 3 years if they are adults.....A lot of offices here have developed the same policy.

Ugh , it sure sounds awful. There is a study recruiting pandas kids.. it the NIH study. I took my son who was very sick and 6 months later he is close to 100%! Feel free to pm me. Make sure kitten has no fleas. Fleas carry bartonella. Also would submit a fecal for kutty to the vet. my dog cultured pos for strep. It has to be do.e under anesthesia

Sounds like my 6 year old too. I would suggest calling the nih ivig study. I am not sure he wil qualify for the study but it doesnt hurt to try. google pandas ivig study nih and it should come up

I havent gotten the details yet. We are in the nih study, It must have helped us to be diagnosed by them. If I find out I will let you know. It only took a few weeks and dr b office did everything.

Gosh, my kids dont have this. But it sounds so awful. I myself had hallucinations auditory and visual. I have lyme. I was thinking when I read this post that maybe it was a side effect of meds? so sorry.
