I will talk to the DR monday about getting athe authorization.Hes under my insurance I called the Pharm and rite aid said it was 250.00 for the script. I pay 5-15$ copays for scripts so I thought that was alot But Ill pay if it works ..Danny will be 15 next month getting older hes on 30mg buspar and 3 mg tenex also Inositom ,mag taurate,lecitin,b6,taurine. I was giving him advil 200-400mg for the sore throat seemed ok on it. I did give him some benadryl thursday because I thought the sore throat was allergy rlated .The sore throat is gone He was a little aggitated todayb but not so bad Oh yea hes taking nystatin 3rd day today to make sure hes not building to much yeast from the zithromax.

when danny tried a med he got a rash all over him including his hands the hospital said he had 5ths or he was allergic to the trileptial med that he tried I thought it could be strept what did your daughters 5th look like

No clue what the source is for this page. Sounds kinda hokey. It's possible the kid outgrew TS at the same time he happened to start the medicine. What is Nystatin and how does it supposedly work on TS? I am starting my son on nystatin tonight so Ill let everyone know if its a hoax dannys neuro recomended it yesterday to help with the long term azith hes on He has a virus right now I thought it was strept but test was negitive but who knows his face is broken out too poor kid still his behavior is a little better i hope this gets better and better I also cant say how greatful I am for this site and everyone that comments I cant even say how this helps me and my family

My son had his tonsills out when he was 5 his recovery went great But my BF child took 2 weeks to recover I think every kid is different I dont know about the antibiotic part but Im sure your giving him the best care It sound like hes a trooper I hate when they dont feel good It makes you feel hopeless Good Luck and Ill keep you in my thoughts and prayers

Hi Michele Dans on some Buspar that seems to be helping a little bit Stratera worked great when he was about 9 hes almost 15 now we were on abilify it seemed to aggitate him but maybe it wasnt that cause hes off and still aggitated I have to go to go to work Ill write more later Thinking of you and your child too I hope this gets better soon melanie

Hi He is being treated for suspected Pandas from dan dr zithro 250 started less than 1 month ago. Neurologist from Columbia Presp in NY is helping with school He is on Home instruction and has to have neuro to get him out He also has ASD . I havve tried Bonnies vitamines but hes sensitive to folic and Bcomplex so I have to seperate Hes on Taurine ,B6 ,flax seed (sensitive ti fish oil) Inositol,mag, He goes to therapy , has a tutor,accupuncture Im thinking of biofeedback Tenex 3mg and buspar 20 mg for anxiety Im stressed overwhelmed depressed and just plain sad ! Oh yea and angry!!! I love this boy more than anything but I just cant help him He gets mad at himself whenever he curses hates that hes calling me a B can u imagine I wish this would get better Im afraid to take him off of anything Im afraid it will get worse He needs to go back to school he goes to work with my husband everyday its ok but he needs to go back to school

Hi everyone thanks for reading my post and for being here im sad today Well I called the dr to ask about the tenex she raised the dossage to 3mg daily she says thats even a low dose and I should try a neuroleptic again any way I asked her when will this get a little better and she said never i ALMOST DIED i thought this would at some point get a little better should i continue with a dr whho has no hope or listen to drs who have me try a million different things maybe I dshould start him on a different diet I need instructions exactly what to do Should i have him allergy tested he has a dan dr good one should he be testing for something or should I just give into tourettes and the cursing and anger what should I do I am not any further with this then i was 1 yr ago maybe worse Melanie

Hi Peglem I have a 14 yr old son with ASD what is the treatment you are starting for the autism ? Dan has TS and ASD it was aspergers but with the TS its well a mess and I think the symptoms got worse with puberty Im hoping things will get bettr when puberty is over

Let me know more why Prozac is a better ssri than lexapro? Danny does poorly with ssris im willing to try it again but why prozac instead of others will it help anger? He is also asd and tourettes on zithro on tenex ( i dont think its helping and on buspar I think thats helping HELP verbal tics have ruined our lifes I mean it cant go anywhere when will this end Michele have you seen a DAN dr? Hi he was dxed when he was about 6 by a psych with motor tics but they were very minor eye blinking ear rubbing no big deal he does have ASD SO SOME OF THE BEHAVIORS ARE FROM THAT anyway I thought the meds may have caused some but hes been off those meds for a while the verbal tics cursing and stuff is about a year and getting worse I think he does get away with some stuff because we werent sure what was what but we went to columbia and the dR said were on the right track with the meds anyway we are going to focus alot on his behaviors hes on Home Instruction yes the middle finger is a tic if its used with a word and yes I know theres a small % of ts patients that do this usuallly it comormid with ASD the Dr at Columbia did say that puberty makes all this worse and that most TS patients end up the way the began Im hoping hes going to get eye tics we were successful with mag any help even just talking helps I am willing to try anything thanks melanie
