Joan Pandas Mom Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 I think there might be a connection with my son too. I'm not sure, but was trying to eliminate it. We did start Azithro 1 week ago, which has red dye in it.
laure Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Didn't think about the red dye in the zithro tablets. I always asked for the clear liquid amoxicillin when she was little, because the pink obviously has red dye. Is there a white zithro tablet? Seems to me I have taken white ones before...
EAMom Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 We've gotten white Azith. pills, and also reddish brown Azith. pills.
Chemar Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 This just another way the FDA in the US is failing to protect children by allowing these horrible dyes in food and drink and medications when most of the rest of the world has banned them, knowing their toxic effects! to the mom who mentioned giving something as an antidote to the dye...my question would be why??? surely it is better to not give your child something harmful at all, than let them have it and then give something to mask the bad reaction ps generic azith comes in white tabs
