any experience with abilify

Does anyone have any exp. with abilify? We are still thinking about meds for the first time, and I want to try guanfacine, but a dr. office we spoke to says they prefer abilify.

We use intuniv (tenex) now 2mg .

 

We did try abilify several years ago,and several other medications.Had several issues try the tenex first.

I would be very wary of it as it is one of the meds that has an FDA black box warning related to the potential severe side effects especially in young people
