you know, I posted about this a while ago to see if anyone had tried it and was surprised that not many pandas people had tried it. Did you post on the ocd borad? It sounds like there are alot of other studies going on now with it - since the trich research so positive - including gambling and cocaine addiction.

FYI for anyone else out there with kids that have trichotillomania/chronic hair pulling:

 

Yale study on pediatric trichotillomania and NAC is still open! I will post information as I get it, or PM me and I will just send privately, since not many deal with this.

 

There is another published paper (Block, et. al.) in addition to the published study on adults and NAC (found it effective), that raises the possibility of trichotillomania being a stereotypical movement disorder, placing it back in the realm of PANDAS/TS/OCD.
