Ronnas
I took Kurt to a reflexologist for the second time this week as I wanted to see if the improvement I saw last time was a fluke. Well again he had just a great day...very clam and relaxing. I took Kurt for cranial/sacral therapy today and a strange thing happend on the car ride home...he said "Mom, our phone number is ***-****, right?"...I was floored...this is the first time he has EVER said our phone number without help! It could be a coincidence but for now I am sticking with the reflexology and cranial/sacral therapy once a week for the next few months. I will post if I see further improvements. I would highly recommend trying reflexology...Kurt finds it very relaxing and he REALLY liked the cranial/sacral therapy. Ronna
Chemar
great news Ronna My son really loves his reflexology sessions too. We bought a book on it as well as a wooden roller massage thingy so that he can do some for himself as well. Although he hasnt had formal cranio-sachral, our therapist sometimes just does a general massage for him to work out the crinks caused by tics, and my son LOVES the head massage best
Ronnas
Thanks! Kurt has had a GREAT weekend. Seriously I can't remember the last time his younger siblings were in more trouble than him over a weekend! Last week I also doubled his essential fatty acids so maybe this is also helping. I am so glad I decided to go further with the reflexology etc. He still has some tics but I could care a less about them...I am just so glad to see Kurt have some stabil-ity with his mood!
