I'm just curious b/c back in Oct./Nov. she and Dr. K were all the rage and then now all I hear about is Dr. K and Dr. T and Dr. B. Is it that Dr. Latimer became inaccessible (as in our experience) or is it that all those people are cured so they are no longer on the forum? I know she does a lot of PEX, is that the way to go?

I'm still here...My daughter is still Dr. Latimer's patient, and we are still very happy with her and her office staff :(

My son started seeing Dr Latimer last Oct. He is doing very well. Rages, irrational thoughts and tics are 90% less than before we started seeing her. He still has chorea movements affecting fine and gross motor as well as executive functioning deficits but these are also improved from before she started treating him. I don't know where we would be without her.

Still here. Daughter age 8, doing very well, abx only at this point, still open to options if needed. We are very happy with treatment by Dr. L. We do use a local doctor now for everyday support, but if we have another exacerbation, we'll go back to Dr. L.

Still here--and still telling others that antibiotics and past steroid bursts directly set us on the right path and continue to do so--

D. is back to herself, Dr L. is our hero.

Funny...we will see her Tuesday also. We are about 7-8 weeks post pex. My son is doing well...continues to progress. Hoping it will stay that way!!

We are doing great. Dr. L helped speak to my immunologist here in Charlotte and we did our IVIG here. She was great and I hope to be able to work with my local doctors here for maintenance but will definitely consult her again if we slip back.

We still see Dr. Latimer not cured but so much better-just got an email from her tonight in response I had to an a question.
