Stopping Azithro Increased Tics

Well, unfortunately the Azithro 500mg did not work for my son. His motor tics have increased significantly (jerking his body non-stop). Dr. K informed me to stop the abx asap. We were so hopeful initially, we are so disappointed now. Can't wait to talk to Dr. K in a week. Thought I'd share this in case you have similar experiences. Andrea

why a week ..is he offf for easter?

what are his thoughts...die off...different strain of strep...

why 5 day doses?...why not the lower dose,, longer???
