jewels Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 Hello all, I'm putting this post on the PANDAS forum also, but I have searched the TS board and found no information about it. In my mission to clean up as many toxic triggers for my dd, I had a new water system installed etc etc, and as we live in a very old house I looked back at the survey we had when we bought it. It came to my notice that we live in a Radon affected area. I am aware that the US also have areas with high radon levels. Radon is a very nasty natural ordorless gas. You can check if you live in a radon area. There are measures that you can take to prevent this gas from seeping into your houses and basements. I thought this matter is essential especially for our childrens health and a possible toxic trigger. I am aware that also has a radioactive element. This is one of the websites that I think would help you there. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/radon.html Hope this is helpful Jules
jewels Posted February 15, 2010 Author Report Posted February 15, 2010 oops.... I have no idea how to get this post over to the PANDAS and all other forums for that matter! Can someone please HELP me Thankyou Jules
Chemar Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 Hi Jules I can move this entire thread over to PANDAS forum for you and leave a "breadcrumb" here on TS if you like I cannot copy posts to multiple forums here tho
jewels Posted February 15, 2010 Author Report Posted February 15, 2010 Thankyou Cheri, I have been trying for ages and getting nowhere. This matter is starting to become a very heated health topic here. I have just ordered a radon test kit online. But I am aware that some companies sell shall I say "not effective" ones . If anyone does live in an area of concern then I would take professional advice. Jules
