mouth twitching

how many of your kids have had the mouth twitching tic? (that is twitching the mouth to one side slightly). If so, for how long did it last? Is this a tic and how COMMON is this? I have noticed my son do this once in a while for the past two days.

It's a very common tic, efgh

 

as with other tics, it comes and goes.

Re your query Guest_efgh when, when my daughter was having the blinking twitch her mouth twitched slightly to one side as well. The doctor explained to me that because the various muscles of the face are all interconnected, one will pull on the other. (Pretty logical I think).

It is one of my son's low frequency and what I consider low grade tics. When he is showing this tic, he still fits in well socially where ever he may be or what ever he is doing and the only problem which is not a problem would be taking pictures. I am actually happy when this is all that I see.
