Guest
Do you mean the rubella shot (MMR shot)? Is there a religious or philosophy exemption that you can submit to your school? I don't know where you live and if it will be a fight, but I wouldn't think that they could force you to get the vaccine. My infant son is fully unvaccinated, and I live in a state where I can do a religious exemption, but I do expect to have to fight for that right. He's not in day-care or school so I haven't had to face that yet. Carolyn
AHB900
I don't know, but they are not allowing to register for classes without it. I dnt mind the shot I just want to know if my tics might increase from it.
Chemar
some people do find tics increase from the MMR shot, or sometimes from any vaccine perhaps you could try getting the RUBELLA alone if that is all they need proof of I havent heard of the vaccines you mention so am assuming that is what you mean? the problem that was mainly noted with the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) combo was that it had a lot of preservative/adjuvants that were bad, and used to also contain thimerosal (mercury). also the triple whammy of 3 vaccines in one is a lot for any system to handle! as carolyn mentioned there are ways to get exemption
zazuk2010
Hi, we live in California and as far as I know, it is at least a state law if not a federal law that a school can't force you to vacinate. If you choose not to give your child a vacination you just have to sign a form that states that you did not do it and understand that if there is an outbreak of that particular virus you "might" be notified that your child has to stay out of school for that time period. I signed the form in September. Ask the school for the form, if they tell you they don't know what you are talking about, check with your local or state government. Hope that is helpful. Good luck. AHB900
Well guys I dug around a little deeper and turns out i did receive that shot a long time ago, I wouldn't be surprised if that is what started all of these tics. Any way as long as I don't have to worry about an increase in tics im happy I guess. Thanks everyone
