JensOfSweden
Hello! I work out quite alot and have two whey protein drinks each day. I read on the pack that there's a pretty high amount of certain amino acids such as Glutamine, Phenylalanine, Aspartic acid etc. Then again theres also Tryptophan. Also there's like a couple hundred mg of calcium, which I understood might make you tic more? So I was just thinking how much this whey protein might affect my tics and tourettes. It's so hard to say what affects what, you know?

JensOfSweden
hi Jens phenylalanine stimulates dopamine which in turn can increase tics Yep I thought of that too. Do you know in what food you get phenylalanine? It's an essential amino acid after all should be found in all protein. However my daily intake from protein drinks is almost 3g phenylalanine
