JensOfSweden
Hello! I was wondering if Magnesiumaspartate would be bothersome for people with TS because of the aspartate thing?
Chemar
we have always avoided all aspartates Jens not willing to take the chance because of how severely my son reacts to aspartame
JensOfSweden
we have always avoided all aspartates Jens not willing to take the chance because of how severely my son reacts to aspartame Damn it, it's the only good magnesium I found. Every magnesium supplement over here (Sweden) seems to be oxide which I've come to understand isn't that good.
Chemar
Jens, are you using it? if it doesnt increase your tics then it is likely ok for you are there no magnesium citrate products there? try checking iherb.com as they do ship overseas and are very reasonable in costs. many here (including us) use the Natural Calm magnesium citrate powder with great success magnesium oxide is very poorly absorbed and a waste of money IMHO
citygirl
Is it ok to get a multi that has a magnesium oxide and supplement more magnesium on the side, or should I avoid mag oxide altogether (does it make tics worse? or is it that it's just not well absorbed?) Having a hard time finding a multi and childrens multi that doesn't have a mag oxide... because I have phenol sensitivity too. Chemar
Hi magnesium oxide is basically just a waste of money because of the poor absorption. It wont harm you, or make tics worse
