dee45 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Hi, our son Anthony will be having his blood drawn tomorrow for the Cunningham test. For those who have seen Dr Latimer should I call and request the steroids or wait for test results which could take up tp 4 weeks. He is definetly having a flair up joint pain, frequent urination, increase in his head tics and terrible nightmares. any thoughts would be appreciated.
pixiesmommy Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 We started the steroids immediately after the blood draw for Cunningham, but we are seeing Dr K and the steroids are only diagnostics (not treatment) in our case. I would say if you think they will help, to start them immediately. I don't see why you would have to wait for any results, assuming all diagnostic blood work is drawn PRIOR to starting any treatment.
