melanie Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 I have noticed an increasein dannys tics today the dan dr added D and C can this cause tics?
patty Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 melanie, I don't think vit C is a trigger. However, when i first supplement vit C to my son, he did have an increase and it did go away. My initial reaction linked the waxing with vit C. After that incident, he did not seem to have a problem with it. So my guess is that, either he was waxing or the initial increase caused aggravation then subsided. I have been researching alot about vit D and am interested in giving it to my son to boost his overall immune system since he has allergies. Did your child get a blood test to determine the level of deficiency to determine his appropriate intake? Can you tell me your child's age, weight and how much vit D is he/she taking? Thx a million! Pat

Caryn Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 My son has a corn allergy and can't take vit. C at all-- buffered-- doesn't matter. I just feed him foods naturally high in C.
dee45 Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 Hi, I also found an increase in tics when starting those vitamins--I tried to hang in there and keep going but for my son it made his tics worse. Hope you have a good day. Deanna
