positive strept titers/throat culture

Hello Everyone,

Just need to get some insight --my son has had a flair up of his tics over the last few weeks--because of the info I have gotten on this sight I had lab work drawn last week --CBC, strept titers and culture and Lymes, magnesium levels and other electrolytes. I mentioned the PANDA issue a year ago to the neurologist who quickly dismissed it--go figure. So his pediatrican put him on amoxicilline for 10 days today in lieu of his lab results. I guess my question is what is the appropriate treatment for PANDAS?/ When shoud future strept titers be done after the antibiotic course is completed?? Thanks to everyone one this site who has responded to my questions the insight I have gained over the last few weeks is unbeleivable--I appreciate everyone who has responded and wish you all the best of luck with everything you are dealing with! you may want to ask this on the PANDAS board as well as the parents there are likely tohave more answers for you
