Heavy metal detox and kineasiology

Hi All

I have a 3 year old son, Matthew, who has some blinking tics for around six months and ADHD sometimes. There come and go (see below).

I actually have been taking him to an 'advanced allergy elimination' kineasiology and they test you for food sensitivities/intolerances and then 'eliminate' them via an electric massage on your back while you hold a small glass tube of the allergic substance. We have had good success. (previously he would 'blink' when he ate corn, fish etc etc or was exposed to chlorine pools. Following the elimination of these intolerances he can now have them without the blinking, which is great. If you have not tried this you might want to as it really seemed to help us.

He now only seems to blink when he is sick (PITANDAS perhaps??)

I am also seeing a naturopath and have had heavy metal hair sampling carried out. It seems he is fairly toxic. She has advised a treatment to 'detox' the heavy metals out of his system including wearing 'footsies' to bed. Has anyone else had success with removal of heavy metals? *which apparently cause a variety of issues. Or has anyone else found a relationshiop between tics/heavy metal toxicity?

thanks

Sarah

Hi Sarah

yes, we have quite a lot of threads here in the archives on heavy metals triggering tics and a number of members who have had success with various methods of detox, including chelation therapy

If you do a search from the top right of the page you will come up with a ton of info. just use the keywords

metals chelation detoxification entered singly and also grouped

my son had high mercury, believed primarily from the many mercury amalgam fillings that I had when pregnant/nursing and his early vaccines may also have had thimerisol in them (mercury containing preservative)

we went through a successful treatment of a combination of electromagnetic biofeedback resonance therapy with acupuncture and reflexology, naturopathic remedies, and gradual chelating supplements of chlorella and ALA. Additionally epsom salts baths (whole and foot) were part of the detox protocol
