Heavy Metal Chelation Change

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to update you on my chelation changes. I've been chelating for about 2 years and 3 months now. I've changed from using transdermal DMPS to oral DMSA & ALA. My chelation doctor felt that it may be good to try oral DMSA, but not ALA as he thinks that I'm too toxic for ALA. However, I decided to try both as I've been chelating for over 2 years now, and I should be getting to a finishing point. I don't wish to chelate forever. I may just use DMSA and ALA until August of 2008 and call it good.

I did an oral DMSA urine challenge test and all the heavy metals came out in the green which is within the reference range. Those metals that had a detectable level included Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead, Mercury, and Nickel.

Hi Patty & Faith,

The largest benefit that I've seen while chelating is reduced sensory hypersensitivity(mostly oral hypersensitivity). I've reached a platou and haven't seen any progress or regression for several months now.

The DMSA urine challenge test was recently(middle of November). I'll keep you all updated.

Hello:

I am new here, and will appreciate some help/guidance:

I am looking for a doctor for a DMSA detox process in Miami FL.

I am 44 years old diagnosed with ADD which is destroying my life due to lack of concentration and lost jobs.

I have learned that lead poisoning may be the cause instead of ADD, also learned about chelation with DMSA and I would appreciate if you guide me to obtain a list of local doctors near Miami Florida.

Thanks
