PANDAMOMMN
I am new to this site and I'm hoping for some answers. Our family has been living a PANDAS nightmare with our 8-year-old son ever since late December 2006. I am desperate to learn about any "happy endings" people might be having. How long do children tend to suffer with it? Do they ever come back to "normal?" It seems everything that can go wrong has with my son's diagnosis, treatment, etc. Has anyone pursued IVIG? Where are the best pediatricians? Our story is a long one and I want to make sure I am in the "right place" here before I share all of the details. Chemar
hi PANDAMOMMN we have a number of parents of PANDAS kids here who have remarkable success stories, and although by a variety of treatment protocols, a unifying theme. Ronna, ad_ccl (Alison) and Dedee come to mind immediately and many more are here being the Labour Day holiday weekend in the US, we may not see some of our members for a few days but I can greatly encourage you to feel comfortable to share as much of your story as you would like, and do also search PANDAS strep on the forum search to bring up many threads on the subject welcome to Latitudes/ACN and we look forward to getting to know you Cheri
