Teri Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 Hello all! Just wondering if anyone has any news on Dr.B's office. Dd has been a patient for the last three years. We have heard that he will no longer take our insurance. We didn't hear from the office but from one of the PANDAS forums. It happened roughly one week after our last appt on May 21. We have been having trouble getting one of Dd 's RX s filled .... A nose spray for allergies. It has been two weeks of run around from dr.B's office. The last thing that was communicated to is was from the CVS that fills her prescriptions. After multiple calls and electronic communications from CVS to his office - we need to make an appt. With Dr. B to have it renewed ( it had 2 refills on it). 😳. We don't see him for another month and I am in a panic that we won't be able to fill Dd's three abx prescriptions. In 3 years she has not been off of abx and is also being treated for Lyme & Bart. I am pissed that there has been no communication from his office. She cannot go off cold turkey and who else is going to prescribe that cocktail? In a panic and pissed , Teri
kakrpa Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 Hi Teri, are you referring to Dr. Bradsreeet? http://www.healthnutnews.com/famous-florida-autism-researcher-and-doctor-jeff-bradstreet-died-of-alleged-self-inflicted-gunshot-wound-and-found-in-a-river/
kakrpa Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 If it's a diff Dr, sorry, but I just read about this on another forum.
mommybee Posted June 29, 2015 Report Posted June 29, 2015 Terri are you referring to Dr. Bradstreet or Dr. Bouboulis? If Bouboulis, your information is correct regarding insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield has dropped him and patients now must pay for office visits out of pocket and, in if they have the PPO, request reimbursement after reaching the deductible.
