MamaOnAMission Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 Seems everything I give my child has some kind of die-off reaction. Why would NAC do this???
dut Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 Hi - I would imagine you can/would because NAC is a biofilm buster. This is a link to a previous post by LLM on NAC and biofilms.... http://www.latitudes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=15117
Hopeny Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 Interesting, I am supposed to work up to 900 mg and was at 600 but am cutting back to 300 to see what happens. DD has been extra snarky and agitated since we bumped to 600, we are also using rifampin treating bartonella so it's hard to know what's what. The biofilm angle is interesting. I'll post if I notice a difference with the lower dose.
philamom Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 I don't have any experience with NAC, but my daughter also reacts to every vitamin, supplement, exc, that I give her. I really find that I have to start out with the lowest amount possible and hold steady for a while before increasing.
