hudsonsmom
I have read alot about people being sensitive to fish oils. Does this mean more ticcing? I first took a Omega 3.6.9 suppliment, Not fish oil and it seemed to help. The last visit to the health food store the man convinced me to try the Norweigean Cod oils instead. He said it was better and more tolerable. I seem to be ticcing more since starting it. It has been about 2.5 weeks since. I am wondering if it is because of a sensitivity or if maybe there is another factor I am not thinking of. Is increased tics a common side effect of being sensitive to fish oils? Thanks in advance. Chemar
Hi yes, for those that react to fishoil, nomatter the source, increased ticcing seems to be the result. My son can eat as much fish as he likes and has no reaction to it except "yummy" ....but as soon as he took fishoil supplements, he reacted with dramatically increased tics (and we tried a bunch of different brands and types of fish) so now he gets his omega 3 from flaxseed oil and borage oil
hudsonsmom
Oh good, seems like that must be the problem. I originally started with taking primerose, flax etc. together, but the guy convinced me to try the fish oil. I didn't know I was sensitive to the fish, but know I guess I am. I, too, eat fish quite often and havent' noticed an increase in tics. Thanks, Amanda
